Regarding City Lists:

It's unlikely that Leaders will get a unique city list, so it will still use Kongo's list, they can override the capital, but they have never seem to utilized changing a leader's list. however, the CityNames table does have a "LeaderType" and "ContientType" entries.

Looking at the current list of Kongo cities Kabasa doesn't seem to be listed. It's not crazy to think that they could just add that one city, to make it her capital.
I mean Pompeii was added to Rome in GS.

Each leader has a defined capital seperate from the primary City List (Defined in CivilizationLeaders), so they don't have to as far as I know, add it to the city list.

It should be the same as the Kongo currently. However, her capital was shown to be Kabasa.
I just found a map of 1622 in my Nzinga's book, and it's show Kabasa as being part of Portuguese's Angola.

This are 7 now. And we getting 6. Maybe something more, they didn't told us about or something needed for steam?

My new theory: LPJ is the aberrant 7th DLC, and it is Julius Caesar. Therefore, the Chinese leak is right.

Corollary theory: It will be given as a free farewell gift to all Civ players at the end of LP, regardless of purchasing the Anthology or equivalent DLCs.

Better come out on March 15 then. :mischief:

Kabasa was the Ndongo capital, but 1622 just so happens to be in the middle of the war Nzinga’s brother was fighting with the Portuguese. The capital fell and the royal family was forced to flee.

They regained control, but another war with Portugal would cause Nzinga to flee once again and ultimately overthrow the ruler of Matamba in 1631.

I've been doing some research for my own mods on Nzinga's capital, and, as Uberfrog mentioned, it seems that Kabasa was the traditional Ndongo capital but Nzinga never actually ruled from there. She repeatedly attempted to rule from the islands of Kindonga (in the Cuanza river - I think they may have been submerged by the dam there?), where her king(s) fled after the fall of Kabasa, but was repeatedly pushed out. I'm leaning towards having her capital be Matamba (also known as Santa Maria de Matamba, Santa Maria do Calquesse(?), Marimba(?), and Mkaria ka Matamba) since she appears to have ruled from there for 30 years. (She also had a brief stint at Kavanga/Cavanga but that seems to have only been for 5 years).

On the official screenshot it has her capital at Kabasa. Unless you mean to change it to Matamba?

Matamba isn't a city, it's another kingdom.
I'm cool with Kabasa, at least it is a Ndongo city and not a Kongo city.

Say, I don't think anyone else has brought this up yet, but I'll just say it.

*Deeply Inhales*

FIRAXIS, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GOOD, MAKE THE LEADER INTROS BETTER THAN NEW FRONTIER'S INTROS. I DON'T CARE HOW BADLY SEAN BEAN MISPRONOUNCES THE LEADER'S NAMES, JUST MAKE THEM AS EPIC AS GATHERING STORM'S INTROS.
