My new theory: LPJ is the aberrant 7th DLC, and it is Julius Caesar. Therefore, the Chinese leak is right.

Corollary theory: It will be given as a free farewell gift to all Civ players at the end of LP, regardless of purchasing the Anthology or equivalent DLCs.

The live stream is in an hour and 15 minutes. I certainly hope the First Looks are in 15 minutes, although I won't discount the possibility that they announce the abilities in the livestream first, then release the First Looks.

I feel like they are going to be part of the livestream since they only have to preview a leader, not an entire civ, unless they do a three-in-one video instead of individual videos.

Past alt-leader First Looks were stand alone videos that previewed the entire civ with the new leader, even though the other abilities of the civ were already known.

Noticed several new DLCs/Depots popped up on Tuesday 11/15. In addition to Test LPJ & Test LPGN, there is now

• Test CG
• Test COR
• Test SH
• Test Bart
• Test Pinky

I’m pretty sure, looking at these, that several DLCs can be placed:

LPGN = Leader Pass Great Negotiators

SH = Rulers of the Sahara
Bart = Great Builders (‘Bart’ is probably a reference to Rotbart, German for ‘red beard’, referring to Barbarossa and a nod to Ludwig/Germany being in this pack)
Pinky = Rulers of England (tea-drinking is no joke)

The LPJ / CG / COR trio is where I’m faltering. Initially I thought that LPJ = Japan in the Great Commanders pack, but CG is just GC backwards. One of the latter two is Rulers of China and could honestly go either way

Given that Julius Caesar is missing from the leak, however, and there’s a 7th DLC that wasn’t prior announced, there’s two possible thoughts here:

1) LPJ isn’t a reference to Japan, but is actually referring to Julius Caesar himself, which makes CG = Great Commanders (GC flipped), and COR = Rulers of Chin-

Okay, so no need for a my second theory, that’s pretty self-explanatory now as COR is just Rulers of China backwards too

That makes LPJ the outlier here, which means there’s some trickery going on with that DLC specifically, and being that it was thrown onto SteamDB at the same time as LPGN, it’s possible that Julius Caesar (or just something entirely different) is gonna be a surprise extra showing up today for release on Monday as well

That, or it’s just the separate DLC for the Leader Pass as a whole instead of the separate individual packs and it’s a nothingburger. Entirely plausible and probably likely too tbh

No kidding. Coffee drinkers have a bad reputation for snobbishness because of a few obnoxious people (mostly people who think that espresso is the only "right" way to make coffee and if you haven't spent a luxury car's worth on espresso equipment you're doing it wrong), but for the most part the coffee community is very relaxed and accommodating. Tea drinkers are intense.

Now the question is will we see a First Look for Sultan Saladin? We technically did get a "first look" for the other personas in the Ethiopia Pack update video.

Regarding the theory that Julius is coming in a seperate leader.

It could be something akin to Catherine and Teddy's release - exclusive to the pass, as opposed to those who buy the DLCs seperately.

I assume that would mean if you already have the Anthology he'd still be free considering the Leaders Pass is already free for me?

I was contemplating COR just being short for corgie... for ...reasons... I don't grasp quite myself.

Another thing, maybe they also didn't want to shorten the rulers of China DLC to ROC (to not upset certain thinskinned autocrats)...
