I bought it, not realizing it would be free, so I got the refund a few minutes ago. I have all previous DLC so I should still get it for free when y’all do, right?

To be clear, I have not purchased the anthology, I bought everything from gathering storm-onward as it was coming out.

Given that LP was probably worked on by mostly interns, I can imagine that yes it is.

I feel bad for them. Their first jobs at Firaxis and this is the result.

No, it's been fixed really quickly but will take time for the dust to settle and everybody's installations to be correct.

To be honest I don't like the bit about plantations reducing the loyalty with Lincoln. Instead, it should give you extra loyalty on cities you conquer that have plantations.

nzinga should be fun although she's a bit too similar to the Maya.

I don't really like playing aggressively so I will probably stick to trajan and regular saladin

dang, real glad i still have a preupdate game to play in the meantime waiting for this stuff to actually get sorted out. otherwise the wait for these leaders to be playable would be pretty annoying i imagine

Can you actually start the game without triggering the update ? I don't think it's possible

You have to wait for Steam to scan your files and allow you to download it.

The files should have actually downloaded for everyone already. It's just a matter of Steam verifying that you meet the conditions to activate the DLC.

However, mine shows I downloaded it here in Australia an hour after release... but I can only use the Julius Caesar DLC. The "GreatNegotiators" DLC isn't in my options for Additional Content and it will not load the additional leaders. Does anyone with tech knowledge understand why it's there but won't show up when restarting Steam and the game over and over for 2 hours...?

i think either i managed to do it just like 20 mins ago or my game *is* updated and working fine, but i just dont have any dlc unlocked yet. i dont think ive done the thing to unlock julius yet so i cant tell
edit: steam says that civ 6 was last updated at 2:25 pm EST (~1.5 hrs ago) and that i dont have any new DLCs

Also, I have to say, it's a bit odd that they didn't include the Eurekas patch in the patch notes. Whether this is a marketing fail or something they wanted us to discover ourselves, I don't know.

Yeah no leader pass here either. Hopefully the fix processes sooner rather than later.
The leader abilities aren't that exciting for me. Nzinga's is a little similar to Lady Six Sky but she's probably who I'll play first since I think the real boon is being able to play Kongo without Mvemba's restrictions
