[LP] Civilization VI: Leader Pass - Discussion Thread

Mah boy is back! In all seriousness, I also agree that these models look great. This is the first time in the CIV franchise we've seen Lincoln with his signature top hat. Whether or not he will keep it on during his scenes we'll have to see but I thought it was a neat detail to point out.

I know some people were worried about the quality of the leader models, but I think that all 3 of them look good. Sultan Saladin may be one of my favorite models yet.

Say, I just thought of something: Since all Alt Leaders each get a different Capital City from each other, then which Capital will Abe have? I mean, they could give him Philadelphia, the first Capital of the Thirteen Colonies, but he would be almost a century late to that, unlike Jefferson or Washington.

They aren't locked into having a different capital. Eleanor still uses London and Paris where she could be using Winchester and Poitiers.

I do not understand where thsi idea that Ed Beach wasn't still involved come from. At no point was it ever said he stopped.

I was sort of expecting him to move into a more supervisory/less hands on role, at least for Civ 7, and hand off lead designer duties. Tho I guess that could still be the case.

Huh, didn't know that.

Capitals are always historically accurate, so yes. Lincoln's will be Washington, just like how Bess' will be London, Nadir Shah's will (probably) be Mashhad and Ludwig's will be Munich.

Indeed. Although that, I changed it myself. But I feel I might be in a greater problem to find a suitable capitol for Elizabeth... ¿any suggestion? :)

Greenwich? It wasn't her capital, but she had a home there.

I want to see Nzinga list of cities. If she is leading the Kongo instead of Ndongo, I doubt the city list will be accurate.

Remember how the Zulu capital used to be Zimbabwe in the earlier civ games? Those were some interesting times.
This feels like if Montreal was the Capital of America, or if Edinburgh was the Capital of England. I don't like this feeling. :P

Or if Edinburgh were the capital of "The Celts" led by Boudica. *glares at Civ5*

Or if it was possible for a Hunnic City to be named Baltimore. *double glares at Civ V*
