[NFP] Civilization VI: Possible New Civilizations Thread

I just need the First Look videos to tide me over. The wait is killing me. :)
i need content soon or i might buy CK3 far before it is financially intelligent to buy CK3 considering the quantity and cost of DLC

What would you guys think would be the wonders in September?

Considering it will most likely based off of the civs, or region that the civs are in, I'm going to guess at least one will at least be European considering Venice is likely to replace either Lisbon or Antioch.

My prediction has been that the pack will be Assyria and the Byzantines so I'm hoping for the Statue of Zeus and Ishtar Gate as wonders.

Did so despite no affection for its predecessor. Worth it.

This is my prediction as well.

Maybe we can expect three wonders instead of two since we had three natural wonders in the Maya/Gran Colombia pack :p. I agree that Statue of Zeus and Ishtar Gate are very likely in a pack centered on the Middle East, if I had to guess a third, maybe Etemenanki? Or maybe Temple of Solomon? I think the game could have a Jewish wonder. St Mark's Basilica is also a good guess, as it's a Byzantine wonder in Venice.

I would consider Etemenanki or the Ziggurat of Ur as more likely than Ishtar Gate, all things considered. For a Jewish wonder, I want Beth Sholom Synagogue. :D

In the off chance that they make it a Europe pack, and do both Portugal and Byzantines for pack 3, I can also see Notre Dame getting in instead of Ishtar Gate.

i hope you’ve tried the bronze age mod. Something tells me you’ll like that, although it’s still an ongoing process and doesn’t have a lot of stuff like cultural clothing yet

Saw it on YouTube (OneProudBavarian's channel, I think?), but right now I'm enjoying the unmodded experience. :D Coincidentally, in the 1066 start there's a random Marzban in Balochistan who looks uncannily like Alexander Siddig. I tried to play as him, but he's militarily weak, financially impoverished, and a Muslim heretic surrounded by powerful orthodox Muslims so...Yeah. :p

there’s a couple good civ leader options i learned about through CK: Mathilde of Tuscany the main one, but also Shajar al-Durr, Arwa al-Sulyahi, Tamar (before she got into Civ for real), Kresimir IV the Great of Croatia, for example, among the very very famous leaders like Harald Hardrada, Harold Godwinson, William the Conquerer, Charlemagne and Alexis Komenenos

I would imagine Belém Tower as a Portuguese wonder.
Or Pena Palace in Sintra. I think its much more interesting than the Belem Tower. ;)

The visual appeal taken apart (which is gorgeous and would very neatly fill the map), since it's in the middle of a forest, we could finally have our Forest Petra/Chichen Itza/Halicarnassus/St Basil/Huey! Like "Every forest tile without improvement in the city gain +1 culture, gold and science" or anything like this!

Or even better: since the Palace is in a 200 ha forest park, that the park has been designed with the Palace and that both the park and the palace are very interconnected, we could link it to National Parks? I mean, I don't record any WW having any effects on national parks. So, something like:

"Must be built on a hill. Grants a Naturalist upon completion. Each city with a National Park gain +10% culture and tourism."

Would be neat!
