Yeah, what a massive disappointment. To go to the White House and then get as your meal just fast-food takeout.

And, of course, it wouldn't even be good fast food, since it would be cold, and fast food loses all its appeal as soon as it cools down.
They could've/should've just picked up their own Mickey D's on the way there... at least it would have been hot and they would have gotten the sandwiches they wanted with the toppings they wanted.

How funny would it have been if they all showed up with their own bags of takeout like "Nah we're good, we already got your McDonalds right here.":p

I can just picture Donald, Jr. running back and forth from a microwave oven. :run:

I'll bet you any amount of money he got the food for free in exchange for producing photos of it laid out in the White House.

I think by now any association with Trump will be a net negative for your brand.

Maybe Burger King and KFC paid for the food.

Maybe he just used his own customer loyalty points.

Besides their chicken tendies are way better than their burgers

He is used to do it for McDonalds

I dunno, those paper cups with the WH seal on them that they served the fries in was kinda cool. In fact McDonald's should serve all their fries like that, all the time.

Right? Someone should tell Trump they have McGriddles all the time now. If I showed up for a fancy reception and there were silver trays stacked with McGriddles? I'd be legit excited.

According to the WH Press secretary, Trump graciously paid for the spread out of his own pocket...

Now it all makes sense why they got McDonalds instead of a fancy meal catered by his local hotel... Trump was literally just being cheap

I shudder to think how many bad jokes would have happened had he bought it from Burger King instead.

Burger king has already written a troll tweet, I guess. But I thought he actually did have some Burger King there as well.

Also, he's been fact-checked on his claim that there were 1000 burgers. That about triples the number.

I'm not sure if anyone has meme'd the similarity between that Trump feast at the WH and the fast-food feast in Talladega Nights:

He's spreading his hands to prove they're bigger than Marco Rubio's again?

Because the portrait of Lincoln is in the shot, this will become the iconic photograph of the Trump Presidency, I predict.

A real president juxtaposed with that time we somehow got a fast-food clown (what was his name? Donald? Ronald?) as a president.

If he gets taken out of the White House in handcuffs, that will of course supplant this one as the iconic image.

Best meme I've seen of the thing yet (and now of course I can't find it) is that picture superimposed so that it looks like it's on the cover of Frederic Jameson's Postmodernism: The Cultural Logic of Late Capitalism.

Easily the best scene in a sea of awesome scenes ... that movie is a National Treasure. :D

"Dear Eight Pound, Six Ounce, Newborn Baby Jesus, don't even know a word yet, just a little infant, so cuddly, but still omnipotent. We'd just like to thank you for all the races I've won and the twenty-one point two ... million dollars!"
"Whooo!" *raises roof*
"Owww!" *lean back in unison*
"LOVE THAT MONEY!"

ROTFLMAO

That pic just captures so perfectly who our current POTUS is and what he is about. It's right up there with the moon-landing pic in terms of capturing a moment in history. You can almost hear Lincoln grumbling in his chair behind Trump as he looks on...

"I died... for this BS? Get me the eff outta here... Are we done? Can I go?"

I have never laughed so hard at a line in a movie.

In fact, I'm gonna post me a thread.

"I died... for this BS? Get me the eff outta here... Are we done? Can I go?"

Or I heard "Shoot me again. Please."

Plus it will matter, to posterity, that it was taken during a record-setting shutdown of the government. Part of its total meaning will involve that context.

Right?!? It's like

"What are you smiling about dumbass?"

I'd like to add that with this fiasco going on simultaneously with the latest Brexit fiasco... jeez we are all so effed :shake:

It doesn’t look good right now for the descendants of the WASPs of the world.

Definitely up there. I'm also partial to "are you gonna put jelly on a lady" and "Ricky...you can walk"
