They could've/should've just picked up their own Mickey D's on the way there... at least it would have been hot and they would have gotten the sandwiches they wanted with the toppings they wanted.
How funny would it have been if they all showed up with their own bags of takeout like "Nah we're good, we already got your McDonalds right here."

I dunno, those paper cups with the WH seal on them that they served the fries in was kinda cool. In fact McDonald's should serve all their fries like that, all the time.

Right? Someone should tell Trump they have McGriddles all the time now. If I showed up for a fancy reception and there were silver trays stacked with McGriddles? I'd be legit excited.

Best meme I've seen of the thing yet (and now of course I can't find it) is that picture superimposed so that it looks like it's on the cover of Frederic Jameson's Postmodernism: The Cultural Logic of Late Capitalism.
Easily the best scene in a sea of awesome scenes ... that movie is a National Treasure.
"Dear Eight Pound, Six Ounce, Newborn Baby Jesus, don't even know a word yet, just a little infant, so cuddly, but still omnipotent. We'd just like to thank you for all the races I've won and the twenty-one point two ... million dollars!"
"Whooo!" *raises roof*
"Owww!" *lean back in unison*
"LOVE THAT MONEY!"
That pic just captures so perfectly who our current POTUS is and what he is about. It's right up there with the moon-landing pic in terms of capturing a moment in history. You can almost hear Lincoln grumbling in his chair behind Trump as he looks on...
"I died... for this BS? Get me the eff outta here... Are we done? Can I go?"
