Apparently Trump had a meeting with Sydney Powell and others yesterday.
Among matters discussed were making Sydney Powell a Special Counsel to investigate "voter fraud", seizing voting machines and Michael Flynn's idea of getting to military to rerun elections in swing states that voted the "wrong" way.
Happily all these ideas were shot down.

The reason we were talking about Clinton and Lewinsky AFAICT is because Kyriakos was vocalizing his hope that Biden gets caught up in a sex scandal with a porn star, ostensibly hoping he can someday both-sides Biden with Trump over it, and Arakhor replied that the Lewinsky scandal had already diminished the Presidency so much on that front implying that as a result such a thing barely matters anymore..., Kyr responded by clutching his pearls at the notion that Arakhor would dare compare the two, and labeled Lewinsky a "victim"... and it was off to the races.

We were essentially having an argument about agency and/or the lack thereof... but I think maybe its over now.

A lot of garbage takes in these last few pages, but clearly the best garbage take was the GOP types apparently being innocent of hypocrisy. They are the ones to clean the swamp are they not? The ones to throw the Wall St. Tea in the harbor right? I could go on and on and on if I dug deeper on each of these grifting morons. So you can take your hypocrisy charge and forking shove it. Yea they are both corrupt, but one side is the essence of that corruption and it is the GOP.

Stimulus negotiations are again held up, with the added bonus that the government may shut down. Previously the hold up was on the Dems wanting state & local government funding while McConnell wanted lawsuit protections for companies that didn't protect their employees against Covid. Both sides dropped those demands but now Pat Toomey (R-Pa) is demanding that all the money given to the Fed to deal with the pandemic be returned to the Treasury by Jan 1 to take away a key tool Biden would use to help the economy.

These arguments are still ongoing, it's premature to say anything was decided. At most we can say the skirmishers rebuffed Powell for the moment, but Trump himself is in her corner.
