Competing as a midget (Immortal WT)

1929
Damn. Justin was in a fake-war the whole time with Frederick, and now he just vassaled to him. Geeze. They are not even on the same continent! I know damn well I can't ever get Justin to vassal to me unless he's got no cities left. That is JUST WRONG!

Ok, we just ran into a bigger problem. I figured the last 4 turns I'll bring my heavy mobile units up north and attack Ham for the hell of it.

Oooops, my units are trapped by Justin's culture now with that last city, everything is pinned down.

Ok, screw it all. Let's attack Justinian again anyway just so I can move my tanks & mech-inf.

Whooops, this forced me to declare war on his Master too. But who cares!

* Haha. All this causes another useless GG at this stage.

And another useless GG?

And we capture another justinian city, the one my capital was sooooo close to flipping much earlier.

Alright, victory.

Phewww. The ship didn't blow up after all.

Note: I should retitle this as "101 ways to NOT finish an immortal game".

Note: For some reason, the game did not award my metropolis for TOP place city. I suppose this is due partially to the low pop from all that drafting. Without a doubt, looking at the internal structure, (even ignoring the settled-priests) my capital is much superior to any other.

But if Firaxis could ever get anything right, the AI wouldn't need such lopsided bonuses...

You should really get Bhruic's patch or the HOF mod, both of which fix the spies being ejected problem.

The patching I do is with the auto-updater that Firaxis has built in. It is SUPPOSED to be for this specific purpose, to have a standard and fixed up-to-date patch.

Anyhow, I'm a bit hesitant to start tinkering around with even more AI changes, since I still don't understand the last changes all even. I miss the days when 'Conquests' had 1200 beta testers.

Anyhow... first & last easter-egg for this thread::
