The always groundbreaking, cutting-edge American right wing radio has shed light on a brand new and egregious farm subsidy program. The latest government offense? Co-sponsoring a plan to coerce lesbians into farming and destroying rural conservative America.

“Have you heard the latest Democrat scam?” Limaugh asked on his program. “Have you heard about the Agriculture Department’s financial grants to lesbian farmers? You think I’m making this up? See, this is how they do it.”

“(W)hat the point of this is, folks, it’s not about lesbian farmers. What they’re trying to do is convince lesbians to become farmers,” he insisted.

“I’m like you; I never before in my life knew that lesbians wanted to be farmers. I never knew that lesbians wanted to get behind the horse and the plow and start burrowing. I never knew it. But apparently enough money can make make it happen, and the objective here is to attack — they’re already attacking suburbs, and that has been made perfectly clear by what happened in Milwaukee. And they’re going after every geographic region that is known to be largely conservative. They never stop, folks. They are constantly on the march,” said Limbaugh, whipping the story up into another Obama conspiracy.

Gonna have to provide more to go on. Trying to make enough sense out of Limbaugh to respond to him is more than I can manage. I get that he is on a "be afraid, be very afraid" rant, but I didn't quite catch what it is about.

Basically, conservatives are worried that endorsing the rights of LGBT farmers will cause LGBT and liberals to stay in rural America or move to rural America, and destroy its bastion of conservative politics.

Well, the list of things conservatives are worried about is like the nine billion names of god. Is there any such "endorsing" actually happening? I mean, usually when the conservatives are crying about people's rights being "endorsed" it's just that someone told them "no, you can't blatantly discriminate the way that you want to." Is that what happened? With Limbaugh's ranting it is hard to identify what specific action, if any, he is ranting about.

There was a big LGBT Rural Summit convention which is geared towards, well, farming and rural LGBT folks, support networks, etc. It was co-sponsored by US Dept of Agriculture. So basically it's now an Obama plan to infiltrate the countryside with "lesbians and liberals."

Then an eagle called Small Government swept down from on high clutching the Constitution in its claws

Ah. USDA involved in a "rural summit." I can certainly see how that would be taken by conservatives as another piece in the ongoing conspiracy puzzle. I mean, who would expect to find agriculture and rural in the same sentence otherwise?

Lesbian farmers are usually more efficient than heterosexual female farmers or even gay farmers.

The reason for this is that lesbian farmers will not be distracted by all the co-.. err roosters that can usually be found on a farm. Especially the big black ones.

Next week's outrage: transgendered dentists.

The Lesbians are coming, the Lesbians are coming !

What do ya means barnyard lesbians is a bad thing, Rush? Are ya a homo-sexual or somethin'?
