The communist theory is interesting and is probably part of the answer but it may also be mainly because red is the first color people think of when thinking of a color as it's one of the primary colors for artists and next to black pens, red pens are most common probably ... though I think scientifically magenta should be a primary color instead.
It's fascinating that 98% of people all choose the same answer (if that is indeed true!).
I was with the 98% on one element but not the other, so I'm not quite as abnormal as some of you might think.
Post results (DISCRETELY!) and we'll find out just how many sane well-adjusted people there are here. Has anyone here studied psychology who can explain what's going on?
I choose something different this time, but the first time I tried that test a year ago or so, I think I choose like the 98% did. I guess it's just the more obvious choice, for some weird reason.
This thing's been floating around for a while, and as far as I can tell the calculations are not relevant (and indeed are absent in some versions). I conclude they merelly there to create the impression that this test is deeper than it really is.
I'm also with the 98% (this figure is invariably wrong, particularly on the colour half) on one element, but not the other.
I think the calculations brainwash us somehow. I'm sure we'd all give different answers if the question wasn't preceded by maths (at least I guess so). Strange.
