I think a 1900 scenario would be pretty neat because it allows for historical developments that really never (or rarely) happen in earlier scenarios, such as:
+The Scramble for Africa
+The beginnings of the Greater Japanese Empire
+The decline of the Ottoman Empire
And so on. But I presume scenario-building is quite a lot of work for Leoreth, so I'd understand if he didn't want to do it on that basis (especially when there are so many neat features to implement) or disagreed with my basis for implementation (which is entirely reasonable).
