Berkeley lives in its own little world, in the real world the US is going broke. It has flooded the planet with dollars, our main export. Countries such as China are getting to the point where they won't be taking them any more and when enough do this the US won't be able to get away with it, nobody will buy our bonds. If we can't live on borrowed money anymore that's it, we're broke. That's when the house of cards comes down...even in Berkeley, believe it or not.

I guess the light grey is from that state. So 95% of people in Carolina were born there, but only 22% of people in Oklahoma. That is quite a difference, I wonder what is so great about Oklahoma that everyone is moving there.

That particular chart is of 1900 so Oklahoma is because of the free land grab (160 acres) of 1889.
