The global average temperature over land and ocean surfaces for January to October 2014 was the highest on record, according to NOAA. October was the hottest since records began in 1880.

Of course in November cold weather records are dropping like snow and hail across much of the northern hemisphere. Doubt that NOAA will show that but the folks with feet of global warming to shovel on top of the snowfalls they already have...across much of the US, China and Russia, might have formed their own opinions by now, and in the US they voted their opinions on a great many things. That of course is the fall. Might be interesting when winter actually arrives. :)

I'm just going to assume they're ordering stuff for their workplaces.

That's weird. Why so high in the States? Is that a function of distance?

No, just of our psuedo monopolies + capitalism not working very well.

Distance may play a role for outlying areas but not the dense cities.

So is that saying that there is a moderate to high chance of a war in the continental united states?

Not all conflicts are wars. Unless Ferguson leads to a civil war.

Percentage and types (clades) of R1a haplogroup among various Slavic populations (from new 2014 study). Some patterns are clearly visible (for example, this data seems to confirm the idea that Croats came to the Balkans from the north, from White Croatia located somewhere along the Carpathians):

Also Western Ukrainians (Ivano-Frankivsk) and Western Belarusians (Brest-Litovsk) have composition of clades more similar to Poles:

And composition of clades among Poles from Wroclaw does reveal their largely eastern origin (population movements after WW2):

Czech-Americans have less of R1a than Czechs, and have more of "other" types - apparently they mixed in the USA with Non-Czechs:

let the ethnic seggregation commence.

Given that - for example - Russians from Kostroma and Russians from Oryol are both people of the same ethnicity (namely: Russian), I fail to see how does this graph relate to ethnicity ??? Rather to possible origins and patterns of ancestral migrations, mixing and admixtures, leading to modern ethnic groups.

Also you display your weird definition of ethnicity again. Contrary to what you suggest, ethnic groups are socially defined categories (wiki):

An ethnic group or ethnicity is a socially-defined category of people (...)
