DarthNES II - Superpowers

To the United States of Mexico
From the United States of America

We hear of your concerns. However, there are no easy way to do this as they have already earned much from our economy, although they have not received as much benefits due to the recent Constitutional Party backlash (read: tea party). If I offer them clemency if they surrender themselves to police and then get out, would you support that act by making sure they are safely back in mexico?

Also, I will make immigration easier, so it is easier to get here legally.

With most of the cartels now out of power, we can garuntee their safety. Also, we shall install some border gaurds on our side of the Rio Grande in order to prevent another wave happening again. We belive you should do the same.

OOC: Can new powers rise throughout the game if there is a power vacuum or what-not?

OOC: Can new powers rise throughout the game if there is a power vacuum or what-not?

In order for a power to disappear, they must either be absorbed by another power or wiped off the face of the Earth. No new powers will be created unless they fully replace a current power (IE the USA can become the USSA, but the borders of the homeland wouldn't change unless they were invaded). No non-power NPCs will EVER become a power.

While we wish to get closer relations with all our neighbors for the time being we do not wish to commit our selves to any alliances. But we could sign some sort of non-alliance agreement; friendship agreement, or something.

What is the current status of received/unreceived orders?

Take your preachy nonsense and shove it. We don't need you to speak on our behalf. Get bent!

Did we speak on your behalf? No we didn't. We just offered some advice to a fellow nation. Now, if you will excuse me, I will ask the meaning of the above message and the ending of 'Get Bent!'.

You told the UIR what we had already said. Stay out of our affairs.

@ Lord of Elves - I'm missing orders from China, Nigeria, the UIR, and Vietnam

I'll get my order in tomorrow.

Ok, guys...I've been getting several military orders instead of what I've been asking for. Please save those for Update 1's orders. What I want is:

1.) The name of your leader.
2.) New names of armies, fleets, and air wings (optional).

If you don't send these orders, I'll name your leader and your military names will stay the same.

World Militaries Swell

London, United Kingdom - A recent periodical published by Jane's Information Group has shown the world's leading powers have significantly expanded their militaries over the past few years. Massive armies fielded by such nations as the Russian Federation and the Republic of Greater China (RGC) are beginning to frighten leaders of their weaker neighbors as a scramble for territory looms over the horizon.

Nations with formidable militaries have shown less concern, as they comfortably believe they are able to fend off any invasion. Israel, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, the Koreas, and many other nations have made sure their forces are fighting fit, potentially to deter a possible attack in the near future. Some believe these efforts are only a short term fix, and that invasion from the world's powers will come eventually. Only time will tell, but the world is almost confident that how these armies will be put to use will become clear in the following months.

OOC: I didn't receive orders from Abaddon or Agent 89. That's fine for now, but make sure to send them from now on. If you don't send orders for two turns (unless you give me a good sob story), your out.

Everyone who sent me military orders...resend them for the next update. However, I'd like to recommend a few of you read the rules again first. Also, make sure to send only one set of orders (I'm looking at you Terrance888). I will accept your latest set of orders, and will disregard any sent before them.

Feel free to ask questions. You can either send PMs or bother me on MSN or AIM. I don't bite.

Orders for Update 1 are due Sunday, March 6th at 8:00pm CST.

To the World

The United States of America continues to expect peace in this world despite the alarming growths in military might. If any state violates the peace, there better be a good reason for it.

I will send an invitation to a conference for the Nuclear Bomb Test-ban Treaty. Please advertise a city for this year's conference. The conference shall begin this weekend to give everyone a chance to catch a plane.

If you have not yet voiced your opinion, or have refused to sign but are now interested, please contact me and the world with a public announcement.

If you are steadfast in not taking this one, the most dangers of many military possibilities, off the table, please announce publically if you have not done yet.

Thank you.

@ Mod
Sorry, I just thought a sentance that doesn't even count counted. I'll do this right next time.

Do you have a problem with peace? If not, then we can be heralds for it together. If so, what do you have against peace? Peace is to be preserved, whether we all watch for it, or only us, the United States.

lurker's comment: Yes huge problem with peace...considering its boring.

We consider all of Centeral America part of our Sphere of Influence, and any foreign attack on those countries will not be tolerated.

OOC: So? After years of Constitutional Rule, the GOP needs a few years to build up their army!

After all, its a tradition to claim peace for the election, then fight a war that year!
