Our Catholic residents have come to us to explain their concerns and we have been asked to pass their concerns to the wider world.
The uniting of the Catholic churches are bound to cause some instability to local populations and may even cause rebellions in some areas loyal to the old ways. The uncertainty of the combining of the leadership of two patriarchs, while agreeable to them, may have long term consequences later. From whence there was but one representative of God, there are now two. This Dualism is something that they have not seen before and are unsure as to who God is talking to now. It could even be that both patriarchs have now become worldly as opposed to divine, which will mean their God given authority is no longer valid.
The Tsar organising a celebration only gives this idea more credence and could be seen as the hand behind this event. Also the statement "Both Patriarchs have agreed that as equals they shall regularly consult with each other", as opposed to God, is further proof of their worldiness and loss of divinity. In addition, the signing of pacts so soon after this agreement can also be considered evidence.
It would seem that the leaders of the world are interfering in the ways of God within the Catholic faith and are trying be superior to his will. God will not be pleased say our Catholic residents and bad things are bound to happen. This could come in the way of plagues, earthquakes, floods, famines or any other miseries, they say. Just like what happened in the Bible when the people turned away from God's will. It may even cause a three-way schism, whereby the two old faiths break away as they once were and the supporters of the Dualism of Patriarchs (which seems unusual to say the least), forms a new Catholic faction. So much uncertainty, say our Catholic residents.
We the people of Gibraltar, welcome the other Catholics from both sides to our provinces, as safe place when the troubles begins. Catholics in Gibraltar will be free to worship God in any manner they see fit.
We also welcome all Catholics who have lost faith in their patriarchs, to come to the ways of Islam and the Prophet Mohammed.
