Describe three values you appreciate the most

The Aerospace Engineer in me wants to say this.....

gamma - 1.4
R - 1716 (Imperial) or 287 (metric) (sorry to lazy to look up the precise units)
pi - 3.14.......

But seriously
1.)Moral
(primarily "do on to others as you would have them do onto you" philosophy)
compassion goes into that

2.) Sence of Humor

3.) Intelligent
(including openmindedness)

1. Respect
2. Honesty
3. Open Mindedness

1) Honesty
2) Empathy
3) Forgiveness (and I'm NOT a Christian :p)

1) Justice
2) Honour
3) Compassion

(I don't consider "love" a value, but rather an emotion, so it's why it's not here)

I believe in pain, cruelty, and infidelity.

- Honesty
- Honour
And justice, above all.

All these people that think 'Justice' is a great value, but 'Justice' is used to start wars all the time.

Try forgiving somone, then understanding why they did something, then you can be objective about the best resolution. :)

1.Rationality- Well this is great in day to day stuff, I can't stand irrational people.
2.Intelligence- Idiots annoy me.
3.Moralless (doesn't have morals)- I don't beleive that there is a good and an evil and I wish more people felt the same.

Reason/Rationality, Compassion/Empathy, and Honor/Morality - probably not in order.

Honor - Good name; reputation.
Courage - The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger, fear, or vicissitudes with self-possession, confidence, and resolution; bravery.
Commitment - A pledge to do.

1. Integrity (encompassing honesty and soundness of moral principle)

2. Empathy (which to me engenders respect for others)

3. Inquisitiveness (the eternal quest for knowledge and understanding)

1. Honesty - with oneself! No one demands you be honest with others, but everyone should always be honest with themselves about everything, including themselves.
2. Sense of Honor - being trustworthy, at least among one's peers, and saying what you mean and meaning what you say when it's time to express yourself, and having strong ethics/morals that govern how you treat other people.
3. Sense of Humor - I shun anyone who can't laugh at the world and themselves.

Why only 3? Why not 5 or 10?

1. Honesty
2. Integrity
3. Compassion

I figure if you keep your mind and life simple, curious and uncluttered you will naturally use the best of your rational and intuitive brain in harmony. You won't feel the need to mess with people and you will probably lead a good life. Unless you give up and become bitter and despondent. And that's where determination comes in.
