Isn't typing out "fir" or "firef" or whatnot slower than double clicking on the firefox icon? obv. if your aim is for a clean desktop then launchy is a godsend..

EDIT: I just started reading about what else you can do with it...and I am definitely downloading it

If you want to clean your desktop of icons, then you could just right click and decheck "Show Desktop Icons". I downloaded Launchy anyway for the hell of it

Well to open itunes, I had to hit the win key and hit my down arrow 3 times. Or I could minimize firefox and double click the icon. Hitting a hotkey and typing fir takes me less than a second.

I downloaded launchy, and its awesome. I mostly have one program per letter, so it only requires f, enter for firefox, i, enter for itunes, etc. so you are right, launchy=much faster.

Nah, its one of the pictures used for the scenarios menu in Fall from Heaven 2. The artist is Daniel Dociu. I believe it was originally concept art for ArenaNet.

As for the Chinese, it's because my computer is currently set to Chinese under language options.
