Can you please get the new combat rules and units from the superpower Modepack ?
Does this also fix the issue with CSD where Great Diplomats spawn every turn after founding the first?? Gazebo said you had fixed it in the CP versions?

Nope. The CSD v23+ code is buried in the CP DLL and not released separately, so I can't merge it back into the combined DLL.
Effectivly ending the combined dll and csd working together with out the cp???

The issue wasn't related to the code, but rather to the lack of an XML entry for the Great Diplomat in the <GreatPeople> table you added in the previous version of your DLL. Also, CSD is still using an independent codebase (I maintain CSD's dll separate from the CP dll, even though the latter has the former in it).
Hello, new to this DLL stuff. I have installed the DLL - Various Mod Components and Global - Enable Magellan, , Global - Passable Forts Any, Global - City Forest Bonus, Global - CS Raze Rarely, Buildings - Pro-Rata Purchase, Global - City State Gifts from Pick'N'Mix mods. These are the ones I would like to get working and everything else seems to work except the City state gifts. It says in the mod activation selection that another mod is blocking the mod. All the other mods can be activated from there. How do I proceed? Thank you.
EDIT: Problem found, was another mod.
Hello. I believe I've found a bug in "DLL - Various Mod Components (v 63)".
Whenever I have the DLL enabled (it doesn't matter if the DLL-dependent mods are on or off), air interception doesn't work properly, as documented here. If I turn the DLL off, air interception works properly again.
It would be great if you could look into this, as I would like to use the DLL-dependent mods. Thanks!
I´m playtesting the CCTP mod, which requires one of your DLL and there is an issue that really bugs me:
when I trade with another civs there is a very easy way to get free money from them, I just ask them to give me gold per turn (max 7) for nothing in exchange and they just agree. Then I can repeat the process a couple of times and it always works no matter the difficulty level or neutral/friend status.
I don´t know how to get rid of this bug. I don´t want it to tease me to cheat and I would like the civs to actually make the deal even by wanting something in exchange.
The bug appears with both versions of your DLL.
Could you fix it for us? Thanks
Hi I put dll and city working distance mod into mods folder and enabled them but working distance mod doesnt work.. Do you have any idea why this is happening?
Just a note, only a few buildings and policies affect the city working distance.
You can get a overview in the xml file in the working distance mod.
Also you can add to this file as many buidings and polices as you wish and it will work
We use it in CCTP, and it works like a charm
Thank you Gilgamesch. I fixed the problem by editing the xml file.
Found my problem with the city state gifts, I had the city state leader heads mode on and apparently they dont work together.
Oh, yeah. I was going to look into that... but obviously never did. There's the compatible version of CSL2, though, for just this sort of eventuality.
hi i just downloaded DLL - Various Mod Components from William's website. (v63)
I'm using App Store version, BNW + GNK + DLCs. game version is 1.3.6 as seen on App Store. When I extract the civ5mod file and go in to the game i cannot enable it. It says this is not compatible with the current version of the game.
What do i do wrong?
Ps: I'm new i'm so sorry if this problem got fixed before and i didn't see in the search.
Every dll is Windows-only, unfortunately. Macs use different types of libraries for which the source code hasn't been released.
I have this problem as well and I'm on windows. I have one linux box with steam installed but I've never played civ on it.
Hi, you're an ineffable wizard about this modding business, whoward. I mean not just the skill but the... industriousness of it.
I've tried to obtain your Various Mod Components uber-mod, but enabling it either softlocks Civ, or crashes it with some kind of Visual Studio exception. Are there reasons this may be the case other than system performance, or, even if it is performance, how much performance are we talking about here, 'cause this system is pretty hot (for when CiV came out, anyway).
Also, it is very likely I will be tempted to take the changes you made to the code for the beliefs system in the Natural Wonder inspiration component , in order to implement my own beliefs system. I'll be reading your modder notes, just a heads-up (more a thank-you, again, really).
I am using Improvement Tunnel and use BNW version. In game , i can purchase/build that unit but that unit cant climb on mountain to build tunnel ....
Can you fix it ?
38 of the events from my DLL have been included in the 3.276 patch (see this thread)
Congratulations! I'm looking forward to a new version of your DLL mod (and Gazebos spin-off).
