I saw my dead (well just dead) grandmother. That said ghost was see throw but you can see them also. It was very scary crap!

How can you disprove 1st hand evidence?

A story isn't proof, it's just a story. The person could be lying, or they could have been hallucinating, or they could have mistaken some explainable phenomenon for a ghost.

Well Im reading a book called 1 minute after you die. It says that the demons are always watching over us. They learn to impersonate us, our attidtude, our voices, everything. Then when the person dies, and a Medium tries to speak with them, The demons are talking to them. Not them.

No. Not if it was a one time event. Eyes and your mind can play tricks on you. Because there never has been a verifyable account of ghosts, I do not believe in them.

And please, no one bring up those mediums who go: I'm getting a name starting with an H ... an H ... maybe a J. Those people are the scum of the spiritual earth.

If you believe in ghosts, doesn't dying scare the crap out of you? Would you really want to spend eternity watching the rest of the world go about their business? I'd rather kill myself.

Anecdotal evidence is the weakest form of evidence there is, and scarcely counts as evidence at all. I never believe anecdotal evidence.

That's very funny. Most people would not confuse a ghost with concrete, even the disbelievers.

The scientific process involves observation as well as theory; whichever comes first they are then desperate for the other to verify it.

Pointing out that there exists one without the other is not disproving it; but merely observing that it is not yet proved.

As I have been told directly by people who do not fit the bill of lying, joking, or hallucinating, I now have more time for the idea.

As already stated, I can understand why people who have it second or third hand are less comfortable and will not be convinced.

But to state this is 'disproved' is bollocks.

I saw a "ghost" when I was twelve. But I am convinced that it was only a figment of my imagination. It looked pretty real though.
