I have one issued to me by my company. I rarely use it and wouldn't own one at all other wise.

Yes. Don't need it for anything bar texting my girlfriend. And that's it. Thankfully I didn't buy it myself, as it was one of her old ones that she gave to me when we went to London in case we got seperated.

i dont have one, if i wanted to call somone id use my home phone

Oh, I protest most indignantly!

I'm a teenager, and I do not have a cellphone, nor do I intend to get one. Ever. It's complete waste of money. I have a normal telephone, and a computer, that's enough.

And, as you can see, I live in Norway, which is geographically at least a part of Europe.

For some reason Norway is an exeption, I know :)

But you'll surrender too eventually.

I'm somebody who was always much opposed to mobile phones and swore I would never ever own one.
Now I do. But I need one, I do! ;)
I travel to and from work by train and with all the delays I want to be able to tell my boss why I'm missing that important meeting or my girlfriend why I'm late for dinner (again...)

Upon edit:
I see many of you list your phone. I have a three year old Nokia 3210. I can make phone calls with it and SMS if I wanted too (but I don't) that's it, no fancy stuff for me.
When this one breaks down, I would like to have one with a radio, that seems to be nice, to be able to listen to the radio while travelling...

Yes I have one, and so does about 9/10 of my friends.

btw I have the same as the one listed above

When the phones get too small to hold in the hand, I doubt that they will leave empty space. They'll hopefully fill it with other functions like USB memory, MP3-player and radio.:)

Yep I have one, a Nokia 3410. I don't use that often, mostly for work. I've spent about £30 on it in the last year.

yes, s Samsung model. I'm dependant on it.

We can't wait until we get home to make that ever so important phone call...

"Hey, whatcha doin?"
"I'm driving home, you?"
"Same"
"..."
"Didja hear what Tracy said today in the meeting?"
"No what did she say?"

Rather than get done what needs doing, we run our mouths on pointless topics and create noise pollution and bad driving decisions. Coworker of ine got rearended by a woman running her mouth on a cell phone instead of driving. I wish they would pass a law about driving and cell phone usage and actually ENFORCE it.

Is it wrong to wish death on maggots such as these?

I got a cell instead of a land line when I moved into my new place and I couldn't be happier with it. So far it has replaced my alarm clock, answering machine, camera and the pile of scrap paper containing the numbers I need. It's almost as much fun as Civ.:D

Just upgraded to a Siemens C60 - but all the whizz bang is wasted since I just talk and text. My old Nokia's battery was going, and it was cheaper to get a fancy new WAP phone with a colour screen and picture messaging that I don't want. It's a crazy business model...
I miss my Nokia UI already.
