Do you think Morgan Sheppard will be back?

No offense to Sid Meier, but one thing that bothered me about Beyond the Sword was the lack of consistency. In some techs, you'd have Leonard Nimoy, then you'd research the next tech and it would be Sid Meier. It made the BTS techs stand out too much as additions.

Right now, Morgan Sheppard does a lot of different things for the game. Most important, imo, are the introductions for the civ when you start a new game. Do you think he'll be back for the 9 new civs, etc.?

He's been back for every DLC, so yeah, I don't see why he wouldn't be.

They probably wrote his contract to ensure he had to do everything, unlike with Civ 4 and Nimoy.

I would expect that they were probably sensible enough to sign him to a contract for the full set of expansions. If not, they're very silly.

I wouldn't mind if a female narrator did all the expansion quotes, and the nation leader screens/scenario voiceovers were all voiced by Shepard. It's nice to have variety.

I do get tired of hearing Shepard sometimes, and I miss the collection of various voice actors in the Civ V announcement trailer, which included a woman reciting a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt.

Maybe, in the future, they can hire a female narrator for all the techs.

As much as I hate Sheppard I agree that lack of consistency is a bit jarring, so here's hoping the crazy old drunken overacting coot returns.

Oh yeah, I think Sheppard is probably cheaper to get on board. Well, probably cheaper than Leonard Nimoy.

I do like Morgan Shepard, he doesn't have the hammy magic of Spock, but he is much better at elocution (though the DLC voiceover is a bit subpar in comparison to retail).
