Conservative Christians tend to.
UHIm not one of those and Im guessing classical hero isnt either.
On a related note, If you are such a believer and only have a girlfriend is it frowned upon if you adopt? Or is that allowed?
Classical_Hero is about as christian as they come, from my experience.
I would assume no - having a child is a huge commitment, why would you undergo it with someone if you are not also committing to spend the rest of your life with them?
Of course, whether it is allowed would vary, theoretically, by denomination, since there isn't some "Conservative Christian Church" out there that has authority over everyone. But the principle's the same.
Then leave the West Coast...Not sure, certainly not in the next five years. I may not want them at all if all they have to live for a dying wasteland of a planet populated by people who are increasingly not even trying to hide their barbarism.
I wouldn't feel that way. If you're not ready you're not ready and it sounds like you two were not.My girl friend was pregnant, but she was scared, she told me she didn't want the baby. I have to accompany her to the hospital to abort.
But several days later, I was so regret for the aborting. I'v always felt vile and guilty till today. I don't know if I am deserved another chance to have a child.
You and I are similar. I was married at 28 and divorced by 38 and not having children was a huge deal for me but her career took priority. Since then I've been with women that were very ready for kids and at that point I was not and really not sure I wanted to be an old man with kids. That limit passed for me about 5 years ago. I now am content in life with my nephews and nieces. Yeah, MAYBE if I met a woman tomorrow, fell in love and got married within a few months, I might still consider it if it was important, but I'm 40 and time has its teeth in me. I have no desire to be a 65 year old geezer seeing his child graduate high school.
