Do you want to have and raise children at some point in your life?

Want kids & have them! 2 girls 1 boy ages 12, 9, 3. I would like to have another, but if I knock up the wife again I think she would rip off my testicles & mount them on the wall like a trophy.

I want children so badly! And I am like 16. Wanted them since I was 12. I want three! The First one by the time I turn 30. If I could play god, they would an Older Boy and two Twin Girls. And the Boy would be older by 3 years. But Anything is fine. As long as I have 3 kids.

Ah sigh...Kids...

I do hate other people's kids though.

Yes, I very much want to have children one day. I'm 20 now, but I could totally see raising a child in 6 years. It's surprisingly become a lot more of a need with time than I expected.

I want kids, but not to pass on genes or names or any of that crap...I mean, do you know how many people have the name McDonald anyway? I doubt a hundred years from now my grandkids would be able to distuinguish which ones were us anyway, plus, I cant even tall you what my great great grandfathers name was, so it goes to show how well that works out. And why does it matter anyway? Youl be dead.......

I want them because I like them, and Im confident I could be a good dad. AND I was twelve when my younger brother was born....and Ive been around babies forever.....

Looking at my sister, No.

Looking at other people, yes.

SInce insanity and snappiness seem to be passed down, no.

Two. Both college graduates (astrophysics/math and biology). One handsome, one beautiful, and both working. Both fabulous. :)

i'm doing my bit to combat over-population. and have a stress-free life...

The population is actually decreasing in certain parts of the world.

Plan to have a few in the next few years, wife wants two or three, I want five or six, my bets are on 3 maybe 4.

Yes I want a son so I may pass on my vast Lego collection. I feel bad for only children, as I am glad I have a sibling. If I do end up having a child, I will give him/her a sibling, too.

Like Western Europe. Population is not increasing, but there are hardly any wildlife left, because there are so many people everywhere...
Actually, population is increasing in most of western europe...

Western Russia is almost half of Europe in area, with 1/5 of population, so no, not very densely populated.

We should take this discussion in the Over-population thread, instead of this, I think...

Regardless of how densenly populated Russia is, 6 billion is an insane amount of specimens for a large, omnivorous species, so evety decline in population is a good one...

In addition to what Taillesskangaru said, Russia's most densely populated regions (e.g. Moscow and other major cities) are growing, while Russia's rural population is shrinking most rapidly.
