Strange enough, I'm the complete opposite. I switched to a pocket watch while in college, and have not worn a wristwatch since 2000. I have a nice one I wear from time to time (and I'm good about winding it), and an el cheapo for work and such.
A lot of people use their phones nowadays. I can't cause state law prevents me from having one in the workplace. So pocket watch will remain my preference.
I've been wearing a watch pretty much daily since I was nine. Nothing fancy, though; I typically buy the cheapest watch I can find, though I like one that at least has a stopwatch on it.
