Prussia 1960, score 4528
Just to show that even a casual Civ player can achieve a Domination win ...
Coming back to Civ IV after a longer hiatus, I noticed that Prussian Domination hasn't been recorded yet, so I gave it a try (latest 1.9 SVN) ...
Germany was probably the easiest RFC domination next to Rome, but with the late Prussian 1700 start and an evolved Europe around I thought things would be much harder.
It turned out rather easy, though ...
Some notes:
- I planned to vassalize Russia, but they didn't care about a dozen ICBMs, so I ended up owning half of Siberia.
- My only voluntary vassals were Aztecs and Japan, and neither of them wanted to expand anywhere, so I had to grab all the land by myself.
- Berlin is useless since you want Frankfurt, Königsberg and Budapest to turn into solid cities, so just don't found it.
- Quite contrary to my previous domination tactics, my only American city was a late conquest of Los Angeles, which convinced America (with a little help of a nuked Washington) to join my ranks.
