Dominion NES

I am not sure exactly what that did to you. Did it affect stability and misfortune?
Maybe after the game you can tell me what it did exactly to you.

Thanks.

I.

I can't remember its other effects, but minus luck was one of them... After the game, I'm sure we'll be busy discussing all sorts of things, be sure to mention it to me :p

I just hate it when people keep saying things like, "when's the udpdate?" and "what the heck? Where's the update?" and "i sure hope the update is tonight- i don't think i'll be able to sleep without an update".

so i'll just say nothing....

Update will be tomorrow. I have finished all computations and drawing the map, but Imust still resize images, upload them and put all the image/spoiler/bold/italics tags in the update itself.
Unfortunately, I have to go to sleep now.
The only teaser I can give is that the southern continent map will be rather empty of events, while I didn't make a drawing for every single thing that happened in the northern continent for lack of room on the map.

Those gd giants took Ural didn't they? I knew 24 heavy infantry wasn't enough...

24?!?!?!

OH NO! The army in Polgard moved to reiforce their mages, causing my army to walk right into them, and be destroied to the man/vanir/werewolf/undead!
Not tha't that's were I sent my soldiers, mind you:eekdance:

Friggin' invincible Pretender probably could take on that many alone and win.

Looking forward to the update when it comes. Sounds interesting!

Yes, Magnir is almost invulnerable in melee without heavy evo or magic items. Luckily I can get both :mischief:
and thats nothing compared to what the two of us are about to use on each other, they have more than 8 giant heavies and prob a great deal of wolf/moose cavalry. Then there's the werewolves... :shudder:

Wait, when did they get undead? THEY HAVE UNDEAD!!??!?! :faint:
edit: oh, you have undead not them. :shudders at thought of zombie giants:
edit: are the vanir giants, men, or celestial/magical beings?

I think their like fairies or elves. Or, at least, that's the clsest thing I can think of. And yes, I have undead. Althought, acording to the update they have death magic...[scary thouht] if Lanka has undead elephants, then could Jotunheim have...NA, best no think about that.
Oh, and I have regulare werewolves, they have GIANT FRIGGIN WEREWOLVE MAGES!!!!!

So they are winter elves? You are winter race right?

infect your elves with lycanthropy then sneak around infecting the world! You have the sneakiness to pull it off and it'd be pretty cool to have the entire world be inhabited by werewolves
edit: better idea, lycanthropic elephants.

I feel sorry for you guys... That Pretender is just frightening.

I don't lychanthropy is a contaigion, more of a hereditary condition. Not to mention I'd need to get elephants somewhere. And a couple of then foot laser poles, some epileptic trees and about 400 bladebane tanks. Oh, and enought Unubtanium, Nonsensium, Inpossibilium, and Yeah-Rightium to build 8 Giant Mechanical Miniature Battle Schnauzer and 4 Giant Mechanical Battle Walrus.

Lets see how frightening he will be with three armies, dozens of items, no allies, many animals, and highish lvl evocation being rammed down his throat. Of course recent events have led me to believe he probably has lasers shooting from his eyes and other various anachronisms...
I thought lycanthropy was spread via bite.
You said giant twice

I dunno, Giants were implied to be more expensive then normal units, they entered the game on tun 5, and yet STILL managed to to get one o the most powerful armies in the game, along with awful powerful magic.

I have to admit, there are some NPC spending records that I really want to see. Jotunheim and Lanka - both of them got a crapload with minimal explanation.

I started with my pretender, 2 mercs, a wizard and a pair o light infantry and a cave drake. Granted, NPC Vanheim had failed to attack a neigbour, but still. Oh, and my income was about 100 gp. On the same turn as Jotunheim started. And the realy cofusing part is that Jotunheim wasn't for most of the time, it was player.
