Doto [AdvCiv ModMod]

so far so good, as i wrote i deleted all the current resources,
but ive added new ones - the pack from woc - amber, tin, shrimp and so on.
ill add mybe two more for now, i want it to be a more modern resource -
what do you guys suggest? besides methan...
i want 1 for sea and 1 more for a land res.

I suggest Coltan it's a resourse used in the world for mobiles and high technology, very used (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coltan). It has caused wars for it's control

Also will be useful the resource "Titanium", a highly used resource in the real world for military and civil uses

well.... i suugest you do autoai up to 3000 turns, if you get a crash...
but, its possible that not the resources are responsble - the improvments also may be the cause.

Great mod, one of the best along with RoMK and TW for example. I have one single remarks for now and its about the Pedia. There are some key info that are missing. Where do I find reliable information about the effects of the different Civics for example as what I see does not make much sense in my opinion (example talking about a state religion based bonus in the Free religion civic where there is no state religion involved)

well your right about the pedia, one flaw i have is that i dont have much time to mod,
and in order to save time, i just dont add pedia description, i know many people dont like it,
but im concentrating on adding and building my mod, everynow and then i fix and add a description.

id like to the fixing...but its time consuming.

my next version of the mod, will be much more stable, and will include many gameplay stuff.

there isnt a day i work on it.

Hey Keldath, there was a bit of a discussion over on MOO2Civ about a new combat/promotions system by Mylon. Is it included in your mod? (I've PMed Mylon about it, but haven't heard from him.):confused:

naahhh just kidding,

i have no idea why you have this bug, i think it has somthing to to with the golbaltypes file,

i have just cheched the mod, and its fine on my end,

meanwhile you can fix it like this i hope:

in the civ4civilizationinfo.xml,
go to russia, and look for the line: ARTSTYLE_VIKING
change it to - ARTSTYLE_EUROPEAN.

lets see if anyone else reports this bug, but im sure it somthing with your installation.

that should do it.
 
Good day Keldath. Kick ass mod. I'm really enjoying it. No serious bugs, but one little thing I was wondering about. The discover religion buildings can be built in every city. This is a pretty cheap way to get 1 happy, 1 culture, and 1 health in all cities. Is this intentional?

well your right about this, i should have made it a national wonder so only1 can be built,
but dont worry theres enough negetive bonueses throout the tech tree to contredict this,

the building is suppose to be cheap, so the ai will build it quiqly and prefer it - so it will also found religions.

in a week or two, ill release a patch - that will include some more tweaks and things reported here.

Wow you weren't kidding about the terrible bonuses for some of that advanced tech. I just won a domination victory in the modern era, and I tell you, I had to plan for some of the technologies I was researching. When I comes with -2 health for all cities it takes some prep time to make sure the unhealthiness isn't going to cause rebellion.
Hey, I had another question. Some of my cites began to start working outside the normal fat cross zone. Was this due to extremely high culture? Or something else? I thought it was pretty cool, but I didn't know what was causing it.
I didn't really notice anything else I would call a bug so once again, great mod.
