According to snopes, Michelle Bachmann didn't actually make this claim. This was a fake meme by a Facebook group intended to be satirical of Republican candidates and not meant to be taken seriously.
I've seen a few other fake Bachmann quotes before but this was going around on some social media sites so I thought it was legit but you guys are probably right. probably.
"The idea of two men getting married is the most bizarre idea in human history...The whole purpose of marriage is to have a family. It's not about making people happy. It's not about love."

"We as Christians just don't have rights any more... It's a war on Christianity... Our law says 'one man and one woman,' and that is what I held my hand up and took an oath to and... If it takes my life, I will die for it... because I believe I owe that to the people that fought so I can have the freedom that I have. I owe that to them today, and you do, we all do. They fought and died so we could have this freedom. I'm going to fight and die so my kids and your kids can keep it."

county clerk Casey Davis, on refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples in Kentucky
Claiming to stand for freedom, while at the same time refusing some people their freedom...-> poorly executed statement, could've used some proper logical fallacy instead (I'm sure there's a way)
The problem here is that this woman has an extremely narrow concept of what it means to be a Christian. And it's not a legitimate one. She thinks it includes the right to impose her version of Christianity on others. But completely ignores the judge not and the render onto Caesar parts.
