As you can see, the North Korean armies were not quick enough for take Tehran and will not make it to Kerman before Confederate troops make their final push...

Dear Fellow Russians! And also People of the good will all around the World!

As you all know since the October of 2010 there was a local armed conflict between China and her break away vassal Iran. Russia was always concerned about the violence in the middle East in the country that lays in close proximity to the Russia and has strong economic ties with our superpower. However we always treated this conflict as an internal affair of China and Iran, much like one would treat family feud between the Patriarch of the House and his prodigal son. Russia even allowed troops of the older Chinese son -- North Korea that is -- to freely pass through Russian controlled territory and restore the order.

While Iranian troops were making very stupid dash to Chinese borders back in March 2011 Shia Iran was backstabed and attacked by brand new Sunni Muslim Confederation. Sunni propaganda claimed that they are there just to replace the oppressive dictator. Alas, the indifferent World leaders were not shocked by this unprovoked aggression, everybody failed to realize that full scale sectarian war broke out in the Middle East! Long nurtured hatred of Sunnis against Shia "heretics" seized the good opportunity and invaded Iran. According to Le Figaro, on June 5, 2010, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia told Hervé Morin, the Defense Minister of France that: "There are two countries in the world that do not deserve to exist: Iran and Israel". And this is exactly what we see in front of our eyes -- Iran may not exist anymore after this Month of May!

Russia was trying to restore peace via UNSC, but our words fell in the deaf ears. EU leaders did not wanted to start a war to stop the war. How prudent .. or is it so? European leaders probably forgot how this same sentiment was working with Hitler back in 1938. They let him to have Czechs hoping to avoid war. After 1938 came 1939! Remember? Oh Europeans! I bet they did not even notice how Islam was spread in Hungary without much noise! Next thing you know -- Sunnis will form Caliphate and will claim every city with Islam as Dar al Islam! Up to this day we don't even know the name of the TRUE leader of Sunni Confederacy. It might be Osama bin Laden himself! Hitler of our modern times! Russian intelligence is working to prove this suspicion to the rest of the World, but meanwhile we got Islamic terrorists in our own backyard:

As you can see people in Iran were just minding their business, playing Civilization like the rest of us and yet they were attacked much like this Terrorist was trying to attack peaceful Omsk -- without a provocation, without a just cause, only because Sunnis think they can! Do not believe Confederacy propaganda, Sunnis just killing Shias, it is THAT simple!

Well... Our hearts are not made of Stone! Russia does not start war to end war, she extends protection to poor Shias, but it automatically triggers a war with China and Sunnis. Well, we offer them PEACE. Pull your troops back to where they came from -- Russian Tanks will not kill a single person. All we did this turn is destroyed one Oil Well in Arabia to indicate the seriousness of our intentions:

Putin's attempt at defending his position is laughable . Our war was one that would be quick, clean and make the world a safer and better place. His Sunni / Shiite propaganda is just that - propaganda. In the Muslim Confederacy, all Muslims have an equal say, whether you are Sunni, Shiite, or even American. We represent them all and attempt to bring the world together and finally bring about peace in the Middle East. Putin's response is to come to the aid of a maniac and bring about World War III. Except the problem is that World War III involves nuclear weapons, which will bring about the downfall of all nations on this earth through global warming. That doesn't just include the Middle East and Russia - China, Europe and America will all face continuing problems with global warming, and you have Putin to thank. If you would wish to see the end of this World War, then join our jihad to wipe the Russians from the face of this planet. Putin bought his vote as Secretary General of the UN, then turned and attempted to use its power for his own search for oil. When the world saw right through his plan, he now turns around and starts World War III.

Check with your foreign advisors the next time you are in office, and you'll see the madness that Putin has brought about. His own city of Vladvistock is a wasteland covered in nuclear fallout. His own people suffer at his hand. We did not wish for this to happen. If we were simply left alone, much like the European Union and America proved, we can be peaceful and bring about a better world. Putin has brought the fight to us and we will defend ourselves by any means necessary.

To be completely honest Russians totally forgot about North Korean Nukes , in fact the moment they sent the game to UK -- it was like -- oh no, my Vladivostok ! At least we shot one missile and it was not the Moscow

But then again, Russians do not admit mistakes, they use them for their advantage. After the (unreported) fall of Kabul back to Muslim Talibans (who else would attack war ridden Afghanistan?) I hope the World will join us in condemning Muslim opportunists.

Trust me there would be no WWIII. Muslims will be just taught who is who in the affairs of the World, after they declined our peace offer.

And they better replace the word crusade with jihad. Crusade sounds very ..um ... unislamic

Russian peace offerings consist of asking that we give all cities back to Iran (so he can use his puppet Ahmedinejad to give him oil and do his bidding... not to mention increasing his score) AND that we give him a discounted oil trade AND 50 gold per turn! That doesn't sound like a peace offering as much as it does demand. Don't listen to his blatherings, Putin is sounding more and more like Stalin by the minute!

I request a Proposal of a new Rule

Because this game is Huge and much Diplomacy can occur, I propose that a player can ask for a 24 hour hold on the turn.

This is to iron out any Diplomacy that may occur within that particular turn, If the player asking for this hold does not release the hold in that 24 hours the turn moves on.

Because this game is Huge and much Diplomacy can occur, I propose that a player can ask for a 24 hour hold on the turn.

This is to iron out any Diplomacy that may occur within that particular turn, If the player asking for this hold does not release the hold in that 24 hours the turn moves on.

I am ok with this proposal, but we already have suggested 48 max, which could cover any situation... Of course Diplomacy can be conducted by any means possible. This includes phone calls

P.S. I hope America will get correct file soon.

Sorry everyone, that was my bad, too many turns to sort through in this folder As you can see we are back on track.

Re: In-game diplomacy - the messages sent via in-game messaging don't pop up when you open the game, you need to specifically hit that button to see it, and many players don't think to do that every turn, so its easy to miss things.

Generally its better to keep in-game diplo on this thread or in PMs or even emails back and forth. Plus you can do it while you don't have your turn too.

Speaking of which - Luthor and Eclipse, I sent both of you messages and have not head back yet...
