I am sorry but how do you expect me to receive your embassators if there has been a blast near our dear homeland? We have to make sure that the Chinese people is not affected in any way so we need to organize teams and equipments in case the fallout is worse than expected!!!!
Not to mention the political situation, as it was my vassal to use the $&$&#$%&#$ nukes!!!
So I'm sure you'll understand if we've been too busy to receive your emissaries!!!

The Chinese peace keeping forces arrived at the Middle East to try to re-establish peace and flourish commerce.

They were horrified to see the destruction in the area, as well as the description of the atrocities committed by terrorists operating in the area.

Soon after that, the Chinese Intel uncovered a terrorist cell that was about to kill thousands of innocent muslims... so the peacefull Chinese had to act and destroyed the terrorist cell. What they discovered in the nest was horrible - innocent civilian prisioneirs forced to serve as sex slaves, remains of body parts, evidence of torture... a true horror show!!!

But the real shock was the discovery of papers that proved that the Saudi Arabia is a financial supporter of this terrorist cell!!!

The Chinese Leaders would like to warn Saudi Arabia that such behaviour will not be tolerated! China is a human rights defender rolleyes therefore this kind of behaviour can not be tolerated by the Chinese military!

In the shockingly unusual twist of events Prime Minister Putin met with the great Chinese chairman Luthor Han and his aggressive North Korean vassal. The sides agreed to make peace and fight international terrorism together. In the very strong terms Muslim forces were advise to leave the territory of the former Chinese vassal There was no discussion of terrible nuclear explosion in Vladivostok yet...

Prime Minister Putin visited nuked region of Russia in the Far East. Vladivostok became size 2 city, radioactive fallout covers three plots, half of the army and Navy stationed there are gone, only 4 buildings survived the terrible North Korean blast . One of those buildings, very symbolically, is the Orthodox Temple of Vladivostok! It offers hopes of restoration and reconstruction of the main Russian city in the Far East. Putin ordered 500 gold of Federal money to be invested in rushing the construction of brand new factory.

Russian army began peacekeeping operations in Iran. The arsenal of 3 Tactical Nuclear Missiles was spotted in Ahvaz! Russian Army could not believe their luck -- the enemy provided us with an excellent opportunity to completely destroy all the nuclear arms possessed by Confederacy! Some heavy air bombardment and dog-fighting insured. Russian Airforce lost 2 MIGs but took down 4 Muslim aircrafts, as we can tell... After some heavy fighting all the Muslim units in the city were destroyed by Russian Tanks, all the nukes captured and deactivated. Glorious Russian Army has liberated the city which was in Resistance against Sunni invaders for the past 4 months. The importance of this great victory cannot be overestimated since Muslims lost all their nuclear weapons in one day! Peace loving nations of the Earth can once again be thankful to delivering might of Russian Ivans!

Our War Correspondent was able to capture a spectacular destruction of Muslim Armor that captured Tehran. Capital of Iran was liberated and new Russian defenders were airlifted to protect the city from as far as Saint Petersburg! Isn't it time for Muslims to come back to their senses and seek peace? Every day of fighting will make peace costlier for Muslim invaders led by General Sargon and some HIGHLY suspicious Terrorist. Can it be Osama bin Laden himself? Next few days will hopefully produce a definite answer and without doubts ignite the wrath of the entire Internation Community against the violent Confederacy!

Further, you can select that pacticular line of code in your post and "center it" or place it in a "Spoiler". even more you can select the pic's line of code and use the "insert Link" option above to send the veiwer somewhere like a news clip or video Hehe

How is this possible? I can't wait to see the battle log from Ahvaz... the odds of the Russians winning that one had to be 100 to 1. When it was my turn, I counted no more than 8 Russian tanks able to possibly seige Ahvaz this next turn. I had 7 units to defend it. Considering it took me 4 units just to take out 1 Peacekeeper in Afghanistan, I find it hard to believe the Russians could just walk right in there and take out 7 units just like that. I wouldn't have put my entire nuclear stockpile in the city if I thought there was any chance of anyone taking it that quickly...

Tanks have 40+ vs defenders 25+, so odds were 68-90%, but I took no chances and hammered those defenders with some planes. Your guys in Kabul do not look like Tanks, do they? My planes gave them some hell, by the way

Hmph... I guess not. Well this game became suddenly not-fun. Getting backstabbed and dogpiled by two world powers as the far and away worst human civ to start with sure is awesome!

I still don't understand why Russia decided to go from being friendly and buying my U.N. vote (WHICH HE DID BY THE WAY - I received 1 nuke and 1 tech in exchange for my votes!) to turning on me for attacking a random AI civ... I can understand China being pissed and coming after me, but Russia had absolutely no reason to attack me... Unless of course he is planning on setting up a Permanent Alliance with China... like I didn't see that coming a mile away. Thats obviously the only reason, its just too easy for those guys to team up and win the game since the USA already teamed up with England and the Muslims refused to team up with anyone.

I hope the other players see what is happening here. Russia and China set up Perm Alliance and walk to an easy victory while they laugh as they steamroll the poor third world countries that don't have an air force... meanwhile the Americans can barely conduct diplomacy or post and the Euro nations are split up just like the Muslim countries and will find it tough to have one civ be the winner. Those two will just take their time destroying me and own half the world... even if they don't decide to go for a domination victory, they will have so much land and infrastructure they can walk to whatever victory condition they want, even the Americans won't be able to out-tech that monster.

Have fun hitting enter 300 times once you beat me to a pulp. Now that my nukes are gone my chance at defending myself is pretty much gone... and we refuse to give in to a bully's demands, I'd rather end the game and lose than be a pathetic vassal civ to a huge superpower and just build buildings to help increase the amount of gold I'm giving to said superpower for 300 turns. I'd rather try to fight the good fight and lose. I can only hope you get spread so thin trying to take the huge number of cities I have that some AI jumps in and makes you think twice about whether its worth taking Tunis 10 turns from now...

I don't mean to be a spoil-sport... but its very depressing to see my nukes and most of my stack just decimated almost without issue like that. Tough to get excited about my next turn now.

But no worries, I will play out the string, I can guarantee you that. No quitter here.

There is no permanent alliance as of right now. As I said from the very beginning I wanted all our player to enjoy the highest degree of freedom with only 3 house rules. Your nukes were destroyed in honest fight thanks to your honest mistake and the valor of our soldiers. I do lots of mistakes too, if I only remember that Vladivostok was within the reach of North Korean nukes I would never accept Iran as my vassal.

There is a reason why countries want to be strong and big -- to bully others . This is the realpolitik of our World in a nutshell if you discard all that pretty talk. Before the Millennial Kingdom there will be no such a thing as friendly world -- countries are only bound by common interest. European Monarchs during the World War One were close relatives and look how all that ended up! Welcome to Yesterday, Today and near Tomorrow.

While setting up this game I nerfed Russia badly (was planning to be US), I don't have factories or power and need cash to boost my economy. As you disclosed yourself you didn't vote for me because of your warm Muslim heart -- I bought those votes, so we are even. With marathon speed my job is rather useless, most of the time World never makes up the mind about anything, so it is really not a big deal. Now -- Russia was offering you almost the same deal as to stronger and more prudent Europe -- if you want to boost your score please pay the Russian Bear. I never backstabed you without warning . You wanted to play Mr. Cool but after one honest defeat in the battlefield and another honest defeat in diplomatic field -- game become not fun In this complex world no war should be started without allies I guess that's what Axis were feeling in 1944...

Luckily this is not a single player, you don't have to wage war for 20 turns, please rethink your strategy, perhaps the road to victory needs a little detour, you still have all your cities and at least Russia is willing to talk...

Well I'll admit my first reaction was more of shock... there's stages to grieving when you lose a large stack + 3 tactical nukes, the first stage is shock and depression. Now comes anger. There will be no end to this war, the Confederacy has the ability to overwhelm you with our numbers and we shall do so. I am not the type of personality or player to vassal to someone or simply give up because of one lost battle, big as it may be. We will fight and continue to fight until your Russian and Chinese men are tired of marching on us.

Mr Putin we advise you well that the position of UN Leader is not to be taken lightly. Some of the Nations that sit at this table are appalled at your statement. The ultimate topic discussed threw out History had always leaned towards Peace. As the Russian Leader I can image how war is inticing but you are not just the Russian Leader, you represent a much larger picture!

You asked for Europes support but we politely declined. Based on recent developments we feel we had made the right decision and now the E.U. feels that Russia must consider what the U.N.'s position should be. Remember a Leader is nothing without its members support

While I am allied with Cameron/UK, as I said before the USA is going down path of "isolation". not unlike pre-WW2 and current Obama regime (where he focused on internal issues - like the public health insurance), we are more interested getting our own affairs in order. However, we will come to the aid of our allies if they are threatened.

Yes it seems to me like Russia is disrespecting the opinion of the UN through this war. Out of nowhere Putin calls for a vote to stop our attack, which gets denied, so he instead decides to take matters into his own hands, ignoring the consensus vote of the UN. It's clear to me that he went through this process simply at the request of a larger agreement with China. Again, Putin has his own motivations behind everything, buying the Confederacy's votes when it came to running the UN, then attempting to "use" the UN for his own agenda. When it fails he simply ignores the world's vote for peace and now decides he is going to bully lesser nations into submitting to his will. If I were a member of the UN Security Council, I'd be absolutely appalled at Putin's blatent disrespect and disregard for the UN and his role.

While I can't expect the rest of the world to come running to our aide after the positions we have taken in the past, I would hope both the USA and European Union would recognize the impact that Russian ownership of the Muslim world would have on Russia's place in the world (and Putin's head). He already seems to think he is the big dog around here, demanding payments and supplies from his neighbors, give him all of our land and people and he will simply be unstoppable with his continued corruption and blatent disregard for the rules of society. (Not to mention being able to "win the game" very easily.) While we completely respect the USA's isolationist position (we were taking the same approach a few months ago) they also need to look at the bigger picture and see that what is going on is two huge superpower nations are bullying around the weakest set of nations on the planet and will only get stronger and eventually unstoppable. Unfortunately, as we mentioned before, we will not be bullied and would rather die at the hands of a Russian tank than roll over and live under Russian authority, being forced to provide anything the Russians need at the threat of force.

Mr. Putin I would have you know that you just awoke a big sleeping dog. We sent forces to Iran with the expectation of easily handling the removal of the AI Ahmedinejad. This Russian wave was unprepared for and we made the mistake of moving nukes into place too quickly, we were obviously mismanaged and under prepared for. But now you want war, and you'll get it. The entire might of the Muslim Confederacy is going to come down on you. I'll have you know that I do not lose PBEM games. This is your last chance for peace. Give me the Iranian cities and leave the Middle East or else...

Confederacy leadership continues to be puzzled by the ongoing American occupation of Iraq. As stated in the past, our new leaders are of the belief that local politics should be dealt with by locals, without the interference of those in the west who do not understand our culture and beliefs. However even more maddening is the lack of a formal response from Mr. Obama on this matter. All other nations with troops in the area have at least recognized the legitimacy of the Confederacy and have begun pulling out of the area out of respect for our wishes. The Americans have given no response and show absolutely no signs of even beginning the process of withdrawing troops. We understand that transports may not be readily available to send your men home, however I don't think a formal response to our request is hard to put together. That would at least show us that you are considering our position. As it stands now, we have no reason to believe the Americans are taking us seriously and have to assume they are balking at our request in order to suppress the overwhelming Muslim influence in Iraq and Israel.

Therefore we would consider this a formal warning to the Americans and anyone who would stand in their corner. Remove your troops from the area, now. This is no longer a request, this is a demand. You have two months from now to begin the process of removing yourselves from the area. If we see no action, nor any response, from Mr. Obama in this timeframe, we will consider it an act of aggression against the Confederacy. We tried to give you a chance to peacefully withdraw your troops, but now as far as we are concerned, you can march your men through Europe and pick them up elsewhere.

We would also like to send a warning to anyone who would consider themselves allies, vassals or connected in any way with the Americans. End your treaties and don't otherwise associate yourselves with the interfering dogs of the west, or you may find yourself mixed up in politics that you don't want to be a part of. The Americans have done nothing but cause problems for the countries of the middle east, and while their public stance may be to spread freedom and democracy in the area, we fully believe their meddling is only to ensure their own access to our valuable oil reserves.

In international developments, we have been in contact with leadership of Russia, the EU and also finally the Americans, who have all agreed and begun to withdraw their military forces from our homelands. No longer will our people have to live in fear from military oppression for practicing our own Muslim beliefs and cultures.

Addendum: While we are withdrawing our forces from the foolish Bush-Era "crusades", we will stand strong with our Ally - Israel, rest assured of that.
