May I suggest to try your own methods first as a temporary solution for your first release? Then whenever those assets will be released you could choose which is better for further releases.

Although shouldn't the Redguard capital be Sentinel since their starting position is there and in the lore it was moved there a fair while ago?

I am sorry, exams time up until end of february. I'll resume work after that.
The biggest problem being my computer, which can't handle the big maps involved, so I can't edit the map, and I need to add resources, terrain and such.
(yeah, computer is 5 years old. I may get more RAM, it might help)
Another thing is Khajiit units.

I'm sorry, if it seems like I've abandoned the project, there might be some truth to it.

just discovered your modidea and am very curious how it will work out... if you continue. What I hope. cIV is not dying out, the successor is simply too bad, and here have been founded to great communities to die out - though some of them are slowly vanishing. If you want to see a fantasy modmod which is in continous work and far from abandoned, come looking here: www.masterofmana.com , former WildMana. Might be also a great for lending ideas, mechanics and code.

Nice mod.
Khajiit units I need graphics for :
unique units:
dagi scout - I think I'll just use a half sized tiger
dagi caster (replaces caster) - supposed to be some kind of cat which casts spells. It is maybe possible to edit some of the other casters and mages of the mod.
shaman - something similar to dagi caster (replaces mage), more late game;
cathay (replaces maceman) - a bipedal jaguar\tiger.
senche and pahmar are represented by panther and lion (the only problem is no team colors)
senche rider - some cat-man which rides a tiger. I got something from FFH:
maybe you have better ideas... or just reskin both the rider and the tiger to ginger colors.
Here the rider shoots arrows, while ideally I'd want the tiger to fight, but oh well...
general units replaced by artstyletype, who need to look khajiit:
warrior
swordsman
axeman
worker
settler
conjurer and warmage - not sure if those 2 are needed
Overall it may be possible to edit many argonian units a little and reskin them to turn them into khajiit.

imperials: the imperial dragon
altmer: (something I've found... maybe a vanilla flag would be better though)
bretons: (some medieval flag, idk)
khajiit: the moons, though I don't know how to represent that in 2 colors
orcs: someone from the imperial library site made this, but I can't get an answer whether I can use it or not... Still, I already added it to the mod, But I just messed something with the colors, so it is in the civilopedia but not in the game...
