I'll join the game. But I require a skip for 3 weeks. If someone else decides to join, they can have my spot.

It might be worth an archer or 2 to kill that pillager. Annoyingly, losing to him will generate a Greek GA. Unless we want that...

I might be able to play over the weekend, but I need somebody to fill me in... :mischief:

EDIT: I'm out of school now, but I am busy Monday so I can play either over the weekend or Tuesday.

I don't think we want to while we're still at 2 cities. Even so, I think it'd take up too many units to keep it from pillaging, so we'll have to kill it at some point. Plus, there will be more.

We'll discover iron very soon though, and if that is close, we might want to wait for swordsmen. Otherwise gather 3 archers and whack it at some point.

I started to play when I discovered that I didn't know where to settle our settlers!

Build some Spears to escort first, use one on the middle of the 3 Spice tiles, where they can't pillage.

However, it may be a good Idea to generate the Greek GA now instead of when they are stronger. ;)

I am away from my Civ Computer today, but I can post the save late tonight. :)

Okay, sorry for the delay, but here is the save and my turnlog. :)

Spoiler :
Still can't get Civ Assist II to work, oh well, guess I play with out it...

(Inside Spoiler Tags) Still can't get Civ Assist II to work, oh well, guess I play with out it...
If your main use of CivAssistII is to check for trades and city unrest, try Map Stat (part of CrpSuite) instead.

I use both of them, but for different reasons.

In game, I like Map Stat and use three tabs every turn: Territory (civ, city count, culture and culture change), Happiness (?) which lists all my cities and shows which ones are cranky/about-to-be-cranky at the top of the list and Trading (available gold, resources to sell, resources to buy, techs to sell and techs to buy). There is also a tab for flipping, which I check from time to time.

CivAssisst does all that, too, and more. It counts your slaves, shows the details of each seperate trade deal with each civ, gives technology cost and shows city production, and a bunch of other good pieces of information also.

With MapStat you can Alt+Tab to another program (like Notepad or Word). CivAssistII doesn't do that as well, and that is a slowdown ingame.

MapStat isn't as pretty as CAII, but it is very functional for quick stuff.

I use/view MapStat like a quick check-up with the doctor. CivAssistII is more like a full-blown physical.
