Emperor SG?

Haha, still fail... (jk)

That area can still take Rich back!

Long live Rich Rod! Michigan also has the record for 110k fans crapping their drawers at once when Div 1AA Appalachian State beat them, sealing Lloyd Carrs fate...

I said that "general area"

and look in your history book, WV was once part of VA :p

And for the record, Overseer, 86-0. :D

WV sympathized with the south, but chose the winning side. Why fight a war over slaves when you are too poor to own them?

My parents are both from WV, so I fully understand the ways of the mountain folk.

My turn log:

Spoiler :

pre-flight:

switch Bursa from sword to cat
Other than that I do small changes in MM to get two swords faster.

I think with 5 cats, our problems with Corinth will be solved.

I but science slider to 60%, as I learned it the hard way once that if you get any demands and give in, you can very quickly lose a building due to unability to pay maintenance! Now we have 0gpt

IBT:

Bursa: cat --> cat

975BC (turn 1):

nothing worth mentioning.

IBT:

Istanbul: sword --> cat
Edrine: sword--> cat

950BC (turn 2):

just for the fun, our cat bombards Corinth, and hits. But that hoplite still has 4hp.

IBT:

The Oracle has been completed in Athens.

Two greek archers appear next to our borders...

Iznik: curragh --> cat

925BC (turn 3):

found Uskudar --> cat

IBT:

Istanbul: cat --> settler
Bursa: cat --> cat

900BC (turn 4):

cat shoots at archer --> hit (2/3)
cat shoots at archer --> hit (2/3), wow 100% success :D

vSword defeats archer (1-0)
vSword defeats archer (2-0)

rArcher defeats archer (3-0)

IBT:

Edrine: cat --> cat

875BC (turn 5):

nothing special...

IBT:

Greek archer defeats a rSpear (3-1)

850BC (turn 6):

3 cats miss while bombarding Corinth :eek:

vSword defeats archer (4-1)

Sumeria has researched Phlosophy

IBT:

Istanbul: settler --> sword

825BC (turn 7):

2 of 3 cats hit Corinth, but there are 2 hoplites inside :mad:
vSword defeats archer (5-1)

I further reduce our science (50%), to get into positive gpt

IBT:

Sumeria demands 4gold. We give in...

Edrine: cat --> sword
Bursa: cat --> cat

Sumeria has built the Pyramids

800BC (turn 8):

Only 1 of 4 cats hit Corinth. No sense to attack...

IBT:

nothing...

775BC (turn 9):

vSword defeats archer (6-1)

2 out of 5 cats hit. No attack.

IBT:

New units approach our territory...

Iznik: cat --> cat

750BC (turn 10):

Again only two of five cats hit Corinth. No attack

Another cat bombs a roaming hoplite and

vSword defeats hoplite (7-1)

vSword defeats archer (8-1)

That was my turn set. With just a few more units, we'll be able to attck Corinth and go on with other Greek cities.

Save attached.

lurker's comment:

You don't need to do that, Calis; if a demand comes on the IBT, and it will cause negative equity, you can click on the image of the advisor and be taken straight to the domestic advisor screen, where you can adjust the slider accordingly.

I'll take it, Sparthage is out of town...

I will be out of town, as of tomorrow. I'd better come back and find that something great has happened, like: the Greeks being gone, or us having a sword army. If not, I will be perfectly fine.

Actually, I gotta leave tomorrow, so I can't play either, so I will require a skip also...
