Emperor SG?

I meant after Alex, I don't expect to end it though.

Not really--keep gunpowder research at minimum (10%, or a scientist if one's handy).

There's room for one city on our west coast near Heidelberg The Second (I've mentioned it a couple times), other than that, go for CxC spacing down south. Our canal city spot is cleared for landing, but I don't know that putting a city there right away is necessary.

Wrong thread? :p

Haha, he is ordering me there too.

EDIT: But I like Gandhi... :(

;)

Sorry, my life has been busy lately, hopefully I can play this tomorrow.

Ok, I just got SGFN-08 done, and hopefully I can get this done.

Spoiler :
Prep: Turn the music back on. Take a look. Everything looks fine except the GPT. CAII running and finially working properly. Ready to go. Hit space...

IBT: Sumerians complete GL in Lagash.

130 BC (1): Raise the Luxury slider to keep Edrine content. We need more MP's. Give Iznik a taxman. Take a couple shot's at a stray archer but miss both times. No attack.

IBT: Russian's begin GL. Edrine Sword > Archer (MP). Uskudar Worker > Cat.

110 BC (2): Take out Greek Archer and Sword.

IBT: India asks us to leave. Istanbul Sword > Spear. Aydin Cat > Worker. Iznik Cat > Worker.

90 BC (3): Nothing.

IBT: Greek's send out another sword. Sparta Cat > Cat. Bursa Settler > Settler.

70 BC (4): Lower Lux slider back to 10. Sell India dyes for 50 gold. (bad deal)

IBT: Istanbul Spear > Sword. Edrine Archer > Sword. Uskudar flips. Bananatown Cat > Worker. Antalya Worker > Worker.

50 BC (5): Send the 2 swords and a cat on their way to the front to retake Uskudar. Found Konya. Disband Bananatown's cat realizing I can't get it out.

IBT: Sumeria demands I leave, funny, they have more unit's in our territory. Greece attacks the stack and loses.

30 BC (6): Retake Uskudar. Close in on Pharsalos.

IBT: Greece goes into Anarchy. Aydin Worker > Rax. Iznik Worker > Worker.

10 BC (7): Redline Pharsalos. Only 2 Hops inside. We get a MGL. Raze Pharsalos. Get 3 slaves.

IBT: Greeks attack vSpear covering a cat and win. Cat capured. Stupid AI moves it into our territory... Istanbul Sword > Sword.

10 AD (8): Recapture cat and destroy redlined Greek Sword. (he killed a sword first somehow)

IBT: Greeks send a settler to rebuild Pharasalos. Edrine Sword > Sword. Bursa Settler > Sword.

30 AD (9): Take out Greek Settler party.

IBT: Bananatown Worker > Worker. Edrine Riots. (sorry)

50 AD (10): Build Army in Bursa. Load it with Swords. (no brainer) Raise Lux Slider agian. Stack closes in on Thermopylae.

My Suggestions: Now that we have a sword army, it might be a good idea to turn and attack Athens since they are on opposite sides. Then the stack could meet up and return to Thermopylae.

Good work! Gettng an MGL is a big break. I think it should make taking Athen easier, but we might finish their other towns first so we know they will be gone. I wouldn't have done the lux deal, isn't India our next target? Also, easy to harm our rep if the trade route gets blocked. Just a quibble.

I didn't mean to do the lux deal, I was just checking to see what they had and what they would offer and accidentally hit accept... :(

EDIT: It will probably be 20 turns until we can go after India anyway, but maybe we should try to get them to declare...

If the Great Library has been built by Sumeria, we should think about making use of it. How far away is the city where it's located? Maybe we should consider stopping research after getting Feudalism and go for the Great Library!?

Could the OP be updated with a bit more of an intro.. it was several pages as a lurker/reader/potential player to know what was going on! :p
