I've been waiting for someone to pick the British Empire. Even though most of their territories are colonies, I'd say the 4 superpowers of the map are the US, Russia, China, and Britain.

Superpowers

don't

work that way.

China is not a superpower given it is, for all intents and purposes, supposed to be carved up into multiple spheres of influence. The United States has a large production base but has a small military. 1914 isn't known for the number of superpowers (because there were none). It was known for the many great powers.

@Son: I think he was using "superpower" in a more general respect. As in, "The big bad boys of the game will be x, y, and z."
