Though you may ask why we are aiding Serbia, we are protecting our interests in the Balkans and do not want to destroy part of what should be our empire.

I ask you this: what would be your reason to attack us. Greece is not a powerful nation, and allying with them could be the beginning of the end of you.

They fought for their independence, and succeeded. The United States did too, and succeeded. We now recognize them as an independent state and fellow great power. Just as you should see Greece as equal. (ooc: By me taking Cyprus and Egypt, I was referring to the Ottoman Empire previously owning these territories.)

So you do not wish harm to what "should be part of your Empire"... By attacking another land that "should be part of your Empire."

And lastly, we are not allying with the Greeks. The other powers have legitimate reasons for declaring war. You Turks however, do not. We are simply trying to keep war justified. This world has seen too many dirty, unnecessary wars.

You're quitting because Italy, a historically more powerful nation than Greece, told you no, you can't have the Aegean Islands.

Sigh. christos, you're making demands of powers that are far stronger than you, then insulting them when they don't comply. This is part of the reason you have a hard time finding allies. You tend to be more of a liability than an asset.

Did you honestly expect that someone who has a far bigger army and navy than yours would have any reason to do as you demanded? You're really just pissing the major powers off, which is generally a bad thing for small states. Diplomacy is a subtle art.
