Inti was not happy. Shyris Quitu had spent the afternoon praying to Inti in the Sun Temple. During these prayers several alpaca and two small children were sacrificed to the Sun God in the hopes of appeasing the mighty deity.
However much more blood would need to be shed to make the god happy again.
One of the kings messengers had just returned from the lands of the Chinu people. Well his head had anyway. Along with a bent and mangled golden mask of Inti. It seems that the Chinu king did not take kindly to Quitus offer of deeper cooperation, and as a message to the king had returned the messengers head wrapped in the desecrated mask of Inti.
Treachery and heresy of this nature could not be tolerated. Not only had the Chinu king insulted the great leader of the Kingdom of Quito, he had also made a mockery of the Sun God. It was clear what the answer was to this problem. The Kings honor and respect for Inti must be restored, even at great cost to the Kingdom. War was the only answer.

Declare war on Chinu (Conquest CB)
Invade bordering Chinu province with all 3 armies.
And in case it wasnt clear from my previous post Quito has gold!
