This thread's a nightmare to read. So many people in a rush to express their indignity over the concept of creationism [as science] that the few who do defend it can let some questions slip past and respond to other questions with statements that [more or less] could have been lifted straight from the previous thread.

Probably doesn't help that I've mostly just takin space to post snarky lil comments and mockeries; but to be fair, I consider this all a tragedy, I believe in facts and I'm not given any of that here, only 'beliefs'

Nope, that was just how genealogies were written back then.

Theoretically, the world could be 4 billion years old and the Bible be accurate, but then humans would have lived for 4 billion years.

bats, monarch butterflies, and giraffes, are three great examples of animals that are so complicated and so different from any other species that they needed to be created in place.
bats are the only mammals that have wings(highly specialized) and live, sleep, breed upside down. plz explain how that could of evolve over "millions of years" when there are no "fossil evidence" of bat evolution. they just pop up in the fossil record.

the continental drift theory makes an assumption of uniformitarianism that today's rates of drifting can be applied to the past. which is something that science can not prove. i can say god made the world 6000 years ago but i don't have proof of this date except what god said in the bible(faith based assumption). neither can scientist say apply todays present dates of drift to the past (faith based assumption)

i believe in micro-evolution(variety in species which god built in) not macro-
evolution(molecules to man. through a random,blind,chance process)
i will be more than happy to provide more evidence.

Nope, that was just how genealogies were written back then.

But those are in the bible and according to you wrong. So according to you the bible is wrong at least in these cases.


If you want to use the "that's the way things were done back then" line, than we can easily apply that to the whole creation story: "That's how creation stories were written back then."

This is a thread for providing evidence of creationism. Not for providing evidence that evolution is wrong*.

*Evolution is wrong does not mean creationism is correct.

I'd hardly call it blind luck... given a billion years or so things have had time to work.

You throw a dart at a board for a week chances are you'll hit dead center sooner or later.

This is factually incorrect. I don't think there's a species of animal out there that can go longer than maybe a month without food. Moreover, what did Naoh do about potable water? Remember, you cannot drink salt water.

As for feces, I have no idea what they did about that.

If they just sat around in a pool of their own excrement, I would think that the animals and Noah all died of typhus or cholera long before they were able to spot land.

I mean honestly, you heard it from a zookeeper? Thats your defence? I've had bums tell me to pray to the cat and the fiddle so the cow can jump over the moon... Do you really always take strangers word at face value?

They brought water on the boat with them? How much! I demand the dimensions of this ark; do you know how much food and water it would take to sustain a single family for one year? Let alone a boat crew? Let alone a floating zoo!

This just gets more outlandish as you go on.

Perhaps they could have, if they needed to.

Would it have been benificial for them to fly? Cause they very well could have had it taken a different path in evolution.

Pigs could have flown, but instead they were steered down a more efficent course according to the animals enviroment and behavior.

we have to remember that god brought all the animals to noah not the other way around. so there were some supernatural "beyond gods normal way of doings things" going on behind the scene. i hope this helps.
