Expanded Great People Names Redux

You need either:

Notepad++ (free downloadable program on the Internet)

or

Adobe Dreamweaver (something you need to pay for)

Either one works pretty well.

I know it's been a long time, nevertheless, posted for peer review:
Remember that Merchants also encompass explorers as well.

EDIT: Dwight D. Eisenhower will also be replaced with Alfred Thayer Mahan

Gerardus Mercator was Flamish, not German.

I did background research beforehand and I had to make a tough call for this one, considering he created much of his work in both Flanders and Duisburg.
I would like to consult which list (the Dutch or the German) he would be most appropriate in.
Bear in mind, Gerardus Mercator is already counted as a German GP in the unedited version of the unit list.
There is a similar predicament with Samo. Samo is Frankish, but at the point he existed, I wouldn't consider him too different from "German" considering the area he ruled.

Dwight D. Eisenhower will also be replaced with Alfred Thayer Mahan

Even though he (Mahan) was an important strategist, I think that Eisenhower is more influential and a better choice.

He was the main American general during WWII, and he planned the Normandy invasion, which was the death knell of Nazi Germany. (Though they were doomed as soon as they invaded Russia)

Is this guy Abu al-Qasim al-Zahrawi, or Albucasis, already appears as Great Scientist for Moors? He appears in my lecture slide, and looks like he's really a great Medical people from the Caliphate era like Avicenna

I've been studying the work of Alphons Mucha in depth recently,
and it occurred to me that there are many Great Persons in history that
are still not adequately covered by the existing array of civilizations we have available.
Note, this is not a tacit endorsement that we need those civilizations added to the game, so please hear my proposal:
I'd like to compile a list of Great Persons from groups we are unable to cover,
and add them to an Independent Great Persons pool.
Now, this definitely will produce aberrations such as <insert unfitting GP> being born in Shushan or Jerusalem.
That being said, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Also, I still feel like I don't have enough feedback on the matter of Mercator.
I'll keep Eisenhower, but someone needs to go for Mahan.
I'll investigate Abu al-Qasim al Zahrawi as well. He'll likely be in,
but I'm wondering whether I should give the Moors a small list and fill it up with mostly Berbers and Iberian Arabs
or whether I should give the Arabs and Moors a shared GP pool like with the HRE and Prussia.
