Fall Flat Release

Sorry - I haven't touched the installer for Fall From Heaven core in so long... hahahaha.

In the fist couple hundred turns...I can hardly imagine this to be a bug.
It is more of a balance issue.

Oh it's definitely a balance issue...but I think it's a bug because you should not be getting this event twice in the same city ever. Right? I mean once you have dedicated your monument to whomever you decide to dedicate it too, it's done isn't it?

Unless this gives you the option to change that...but if that's the case, you should not be allowed to 'double up' the effects.

Either way, bug or balance issue, it needs to be addressed.

But, but how then will I get +12 food monuments? Moar food == good, less food == bad. It is simple logic.

lol why stop at 12 food? 12 food + 16 gold +8 beakers from your monument. Once that's built then it's just pure unit spam!

It is not a bug if it is your only city and is fired once every 100 turns....It is a balance issue, though...
I guess zup will be able to live if the event is blocked on a city that has the monument already producing anything else than culture...:D
I do not seem to get this event often, though. 3 games up to 500 turns and no occurance, yet...So, you can call it lucky...Luck is an interesting thing, don't you think? ;).

I get it pretty much every game at some point in a city before founding a religion...but I tend to do religions after border defence and making sure I have at least a #3 ranking in power...and then the t3 tech wonder spammage.

So somewhere around turn 550 or so usually in a Marathon game I'm founding a religion...and almost always get that event somewhere before then.

I've had it in multiple cities in the same game as well...but that's the first time I've ever seen it twice in the same city.

Been wondering, when that mad mage of the scions goes off and get hisself killed, doesn't it say that he is revived with memory loss and amnesia and stuff? I would think that that would make you be required to re-select his promotions again, at least from a continuity of logic point of view.

Xivan's leader page is not linked to his accessible from the "Leaders" section in the Pedia. His name is there, but you can't click it... Can still get to it fine if you go to one of the civs he can lead.

it's the same with Decius, it seems that the civilopedia doesn't like leaders who can lead different civilizations :D

I like it the way he is. Alcinus decided to go all barbarian on me and when Korinna showed him his place, he came back with sun I promotion, a mana type I did not have access to. I like him the way he is.

Gotta say, I love the way you changed the Amurites... I was lucky enough to start near the Sepulcher, so my scouts are starting with Death 1.

I wanted to bring the Amurites up to the level of say, Calabim/Scions/etc. Well, I want to bring everyone up to that level, but right now the Amurites are a great example - fun, from the first few turns, on up to the end, unique, and very good at what they should be good at.

Up to four pages and only minor complaints... Shoulda released this sooner so you guys had more things to point out. :D

I'd like to put an assistance call for anyone to play through a game with the Khadi. I need a lot more testing with their "summons out of gates" incarnation in Fall Flat, to see if it's too much/too little/etc.

Then I have another minor complaint for you. The installer creates a shortcut named Fall Further.

From reading the change log, the only thing that I can think of that I really don't like is getting rid of the Montey Python!

Just to echo this...as a long time Amurite lover, these changes are great so far. Only 600 turns or so into my marathon game, but the little things add up.

After founding RoK and getting Earth mana via the Tablets wonder, I've had 3 swordsmen pop with earth 1, and since I was busy settling nearby territory with new cities and was going to plant them in the cities anyways, it's nice to have a permanent wall of stone there too.

My only complaint is Fall Flat should come with a shortcut so I dont have to 'load a mod' every time :D
