Fall Further 050 Bug Report Thread

Turns out he had a ton of sword spiders in his territory and by that turn they were all S7+1 with at least Combat3. This was keeping him from improving his lands. Probably 3/4 of his workable plots were unimproved. .

IN his territory? Are you sure about that?

Were the Archos nearby ?

2 things about Jotnar:

1] the roads on moutains do not connect cities for ressources
2] the civ name does not seems to change from "tribe" even with more than 10 cities

I would suspect it is Malakim+ which is responsible for Dowsing. If they added any resources which only Malakim can see (I am pretty sure they added Camels, don't know if it is Malakim only though) that would put the AI in a Dowsing Frenzy. Fall Further avoids this by making sure that all resources which are hidden also require the hidding tech to connect them to the city.

Basically, the AI will know if there is something it cannot see, but CAN connect, and value the trade potential, so spams dowsing.

Ahhh.... Explains a bit. Going to make the Camels require Desert People to hook up then, see if it helps. Not like it'll give them the mount any earlier.

i can't seem to capture city's with my hill giants. even after they declared nationality
was this intended or a bug? it also makes it very difficult to keep them safe inside your own city's because they keep getting attacked as if they wher still hidden nationality

In patch K and L I've been seeing scorp goblin archers (barbarian) around level 14-21 by turn 140 in epic games. They have full combat/drill/archery promotions before most civs can even get bronze working. Its not from combat as I found empty islands with them.

Most likely the Hill Giants were assigned HN status as a Unitinfos field, which would make it impossible to remove, even though you can still remove the version gained via promotion. That would explain both why they can always be attacked, and why they can never take a city.

Bingo. Changed now.

I've posted it in Jotnar thread and I double it here to be noticed: civilopedia says that jotnar berserker requires chislev bear totem.

Ah - I saw that post and was a little confused. They did indeed - or rather they required the "Bear Totem" that was originally the prereq for all beserkers. Already pulled it out whilst going through the Jotnar UnitInfos (mostly converting them over to a FF style format rather than a FfH one, also adjusting Power/Assets in places and fixing any issues like this that I spot).

I've seen quite a few of these as well, but they have been getting their xp from combat. What happens for me is an archer is defending a fort, a scout runs up to them, the archer barrages, the scout decides it should rest to recover lost hps, and the archer farms exp until an animal comes and finishes off the scout.

Strange - according to what I saw on the threads, Jotnar cities are supposed to be capped at 10 pop - in my current game (the first on L) the cap is at 8! Is this intentional? Much too early IMHO - just enough to work all tiles at radius 1, but a couple more as specialists wouldn't be amiss...

Worktimes are currently INSANE for lizzies.

25 turns WITH calander, to build a plantation on Jungle/Marsh.

On normal speed. Jebus.

(On a side note, could someone PLEASE fix the numpad + CTD, or unbind it for gods sake...)

Jotnar Workers currently lack a unitcombat, making unable to promote.

It seems, contrary to their pedia entry, that Haruspex can't learn the Chaos sphere of magic.

This has greatly disappointed my friend, as he's playing Archos in a hotseat game with me.

Is this a bug, or is the pedia outdated? Just need to give them Chaos I as a free promotion to fix it.
