Hmm: Can I have a Dwarven City State of 'Du Farthen az Kurlan' The Father of Dwarves. Also, can a city state conquer and become a kingdom?
History: Long ago, the dwarves are normandic and traveled between outposts on theif-ridden roads, but one day, Askan, the first king, discovered a great mountain. Rallying his fellows, they constructed a fort there and managed the road between two prominent states. Eventually the dwarves discovered the use of exotic mushrooms native to the massive caldra, so they founded The Father of (unified)Dwarves.
Many city states joined the confederation, each one contributing to its power and strenght. But then, betrayal is clear.
200 years before present the Citigal of Gornkand (Kazknad az Gornkand) was touched by evil, imflaming its neighbors, they assassinated the king's clan and invaded the confederacy.
The battles are fierce, many died, eventually the Gornkandits reached Du Farthen az Kurlan and disassembled the great citigal. But then, young Haxkat and his clan, Langa, fought the Gornkandits while they're looting, driving them out, he proclaim himself as King. The Gorkanite Empire of Evil fell apart as similar youths came from the vales and liberated their fellows. Finally, 20 years before present, small states joined the confederacy again, will the Father of Dwarven States survive the test of time or will it fall to goblin raids from the north and plainsmen of the south.
(just a suggestion for history, this is the first great city state of Dwarves and is currantly rebounding, rewrite history as you wish.)
K-5 looks ok, prehaps K-6 and make it a minor kingdom with its valleys. The Gorkanites are south, Orcs and Goblins North, Humans to the East is about where they are, although anomalies occur.
EDIT: Nice map, I like it! The Ancient Halls are surrounded by newest kingdoms, will it prosper again or fall furthur into ruin?
