The Second Bhatoist Crusades
Domestic
Dilhava
Dilhava faced with internal crisis spurred on by heavy funding from an unknown source is unable to deal with it as Taruq pours onto their western frontier. Taruq burns and maims everything in their path leaving nothing behind. The result is a huge disruption in Dilhavan trade and collapsing authority on the frontier territories. This loss in trade combined with the collapse of T’lur Pa creates a huge economic repercussion across the Great Sea as other powers move to fill the niche. However, Dilhava may be able to halt the Taruq forces as they enter the steamy jungles where Taruq’s cavalry become increasingly worthless.

Karankoff States
Karankoff faces a crisis of its own as its giant neighbors go through a crisis. They move to seize the colonies of T’lur Pa but continue to eye wearily but hungrily the anarchic Dilhava.

Tereno
Tereno continues to expand and create colonial outposts across the Great Sea. The troubles around the Sea are largely ignored as Tereno continues its empire building but many fear that they may be drawn into the many growing conflicts. The King sends out his two most successful explorers to chart coastlines along the cooler northern oceans. They chart a vast peninsula leading into what seems to be another sea. Several thriving city-states are discovered and contact is made. They treat the explorers with respect for they have a strong rule of law forbidding mistreatment of any foreign merchants. Several colonial outposts are established and Tereno assumes control of former T’lur Pa colonies in the far north. Expansion on the mainland also takes place but Moldvi is a major competitor for land.

Vlakan
The Vlakan have finally found a stable home in which to live after being exiled from their own lands many years ago by Ilion. In deal struck with Hyoln the move into the border lands to fight the Oslan tribes. The Vlakan will attack Oslan tribes for Hyoln in exchange for limited self-rule. The Vlakan strike back with support of Hyoln literally slaughtering the Oslan tribes bordering Hyoln. Missionaries have converted much of the Vlakan to Dualism which makes cultural assimilation a slow possibility.

Civil War in Ilion
The military stringent state is facing internal collapse as three generals fight control over control of Ilion. Ilion proper is controlled by the older order but the two new generals arising have resisted because they themselves believe that the state has been in decadence. Which in some cases is true with foreign religions barred and trade restricted to keep the populace’s contact with the outside world as limited as possible. Secret underground religious movements ranging from Dualists, Bhatoists and Pantheon gain followers as a sign of civil disobedience. Much of the aristocracy raises their children with tutors from far of Waterside which has exposed them to new ideas on governance. A general raised in the south has raised a powerful army and turned the cultural center of Ilion into his capital. His breakaway caused Nosia to also breakaway claiming the Ilion dictatorship is too weak to hold the state together.
Fizcait Unification
Fizcait has been unified through military conquest. The unification has brought many benefits but many problems still plague the state. Many in the state are finding attraction to religion and gods once again especially as thousands of immigrants and barbarians pour in. The rapid population growth has also left strains on the infrastructure and urban centers of the peninsula. The city of Fizcait itself has experienced a cultural rebirth and is rapidly reclaiming its supremacy on the peninsula. Debate rages on whether to move the capital back to the former site.
(+Fizcait as a nation-state, +Fizcait as a cultural center)
Ramain
Ramain has grown massively over the past few years’ thanks in part to revival of its neighbor Fizcat. The mouth of the river at which Ramain sits (Abaddon if you would like to name it please do) is extremely fertile. The population hugs the coastline where most of the farmland lies. The mountainous terrain provides valuable minerals as well as a barrier to raids from further inland.

Bhatoist takeover T’lur Pa
In a move that shook the cradle new crusades has been declared by the Bhatoist Republic of Neptanian. Opposition to the war is nonexistent has Bhatoists militarism reaches a fever pitch. In an attempt to revive the glories of the old crusades thousands of troops land in T’lur Pa. The Bhatoist throne of T’lur Pa is shaky and collapsing as peasant’s riot because of food shortages caused by Taruq raids. Not to mention civil war with Veneration Avatorum followers in the west. Then Terra Trifluentia sent aide which was seen as move threatening control of all of T’lur Pa by the Bhatoists. The crusaders landed and overthrew the T’lur Pa throne annexing the lower regions. Waterside was secured and fortifications built along the River Animas. The Veneration Avatorum was in just as of a shaky position facing the same problems as the Bhatoists so they secured their borders setting up new state. They technically remain at war with the Bhatoists and if the war explodes further it could lead to larger conflict with full support of Terra Trifluentia.
(-T’lur Pa as a state, +Kalduria (Veneratio Avatorum Faction), )
Taruq
Taruq’s raids into southern T’lur Pa lead to the creation of a semi-autonomous state known as the Taruq in T’lur Pa. It is essentially a portion of the military stationed in the land which has been virtually razed to the ground as a punishment for resistance. The population in the region has dropped dramatically as the Taruq rulers push heavy taxes on the citizens to feed the growing army. Any sign of urban settlement has been virtually wiped out by these nomadic cavalry from far off lands.
Cascades
Fearing a fate similar to T’lur Pa, Cascades submits to Taruq rule. In exchange for this act Taruq has granted a large segment of mountains to the Cascades Republic. However, all mineral resources mined from the region much of it is taken as tribute by Taruq.
Bhatonia
Much of the population now Bhatoists in Ontania; the country readily absorbs the small Bhatoist refugees from the long ago Fizcathian Crusades. Spurred by an expansion of commerce and the new lands the state begins to rapidly expand economically. Trade with state along the coastline on which Ontania sits with far off tribes and kingdoms has caused this commercial expansion.
Mercantile League of Keeleh
The Kee people once again faced hardship but overcame it in what has become known as a miracle. A Veneration Avatorum sect in the mercantile league had gained much power enabling a coup over much of the island capital. Keeleh joined forces and eventually asorbed them declaring a new republic. With the weakening of the Oslan Tribes thanks to intervention on Tephen’s part they laid siege back on their old capital. Hopefully, they will reclaim part of their homeland building an empire in the north.
Bhatoist Republic of Vencia
The invasion of Hyoln had been a remarkable success. No one thought this rash move would have accomplished anything. However, the gains for such a little piece of land had been quite costly. An attack by Hyoln completely bypassed their holds in the mountains and pushes further surrounding the capital of Vencia. The defenses of Vencia were minimal and collapsed in the face of a much larger Hyolnian Army. The sige of the capital was a messy affair. The population starved and the merchant class led several revolts surrendering the nation to Hyoln. Hyoln has ceased all military conflict as it occupies Vencia’s cities hammering out a peace treaty.
Terra Trifluentia
The nation is thriving which is all I can say. Population is rapidly increasing as stability and peace reigns in the territories. Much concentration has been placed on conversion in the Northern Trading League which contributed to the revival of a Kee State (see above) and in Moldvi. Moldvi bars all missionaries from Terra Trifluentia creating the potential for conflict between the Dualist and Veneration Avatorum factions. An even bigger problem has emerged though and that is T’lur Pa. Terra Trifluentia sponsors a new state led by Veneratio Avatorum followers. These followers mostly are the large Kaldurian population in T’lur Pa’s western frontiers leading to their seizure of the throne. Kalduria is established as it is known a mix between T’lur Pa and Kaldur culturally. With military support from Terra Trifluentia they are able to centralize their control around the renamed city of Alato Kalduria. Alato is the Kaldurian name for T’lur Pa whichhas been used in the new name of the city. War in the region has in no way been averted but may be expanding as the Bhatoists try to save their fellow believers in T’lur Pa from collapse in what will be come outright annexation of the core of T’lur Pa.
Sky Gods
The Sky Gods are thriving building an empire that rival Terra Trifluentia in size and strength. Education and the arts are thriving as the soldiers continue to march west spreading their civilization closer and closer to a far off ocean. Feuding tribes are found at the mouth of the river but they seem willing to trade. Sky Gods discover vast new lands filled with semi-organized tribes. Things are changing in the lands as a new cult makes its appearance. This cult is known as Saralism but is still has a relatively small following and its ways are still mysterious to outsiders. With the growth in education, learning, and general advancement in technological achievements the Sky Gods enter a new age.
Tephen
In the wake of Tephen’s conquests the country faces explosive population growth for similar reasons as in Empire of the Sky Gods and Terra Trifluentia. However, there is a new factor also causing this boom. Vast grassland was secured allowing settlers to trickle out establishing new cities called Divinitus and Contego. With a turn to education and importation of minds from Terra Trifluentia Tephen enters the Early Classical Age
Huming
In Huming life continues as normal but the House of Li continues to become more powerful then other seven families. The merchant class is continuously expanding and becoming much more influential in politics. Conservative rulers are growing nervous of their influence in government. Relations with Tian Shi and the Ulgrian Empire are very good. To’ra spreads fast in the Ulgrian Empire and Tian Shi both of which are tolerant of other cultures. Expansion without military support is slow but bribing and wooing tribal leaders makes progress. Developed city states are emerging on the Northern River as they interact with Huming more and convert to To’ra.
Military
Ficaithian Unification Wars
The Duke of Ficait using his own duchy and powers has launched one of the fastest and most brilliant military campaigns it was has become known as the Unification Wars. A large force was landed at Ashal easily defeating a small miltia force stationed there. In response the Northern Confederation quickly mobilized nearly 10,000 militia but their forces were unprepared to properly deal with the seizure of Ashal. The army moved to retake Ashal which was now supplied by the sea and fortified once again. Only 1,500 defenders manned the walls facing nearly 6000 enemy troops. The defenders were wiped out to the last man facing the overwhelming numbers but in their defense they took out 3000 troops with them. At the same time in the south a large thrust was made from Fizcait City. The remaining 4000 militia met the Dukes forces on an open field. The resulting battle was fierce and would be the decisive battle that would spell doom for the north. Whoever, won this battle would win political momentum to unite the country. The battle would also determine who would control the city of Bueran and Fizcait both important cities. Bueran was the seat of the Northern Confederation being the most populous and wealthy state in the north. If this city fell the remaining city-states in the north would likely surrender. The battle lasted for one day and the two armies fought on the hot summer day. Hundreds died in the battle as nearly 12,000 troops fought fiercely. In the end the northern army broke by sunset exhausted and with little discipline hundreds of troops fled the battle each hour it lasted. Fizcait victorious advanced northwards seizing the city of Bueran and negotiated with the remaining tribes on the future of Fizcait. In the treaty all city-states were unified under a single cohesive force and the original Ducal line was reestablished as the absolute ruler of all of Fizcait. The state is no longer a duchy but now a true kingdom. Will the name Duke now represent the supreme ruler of the land instead of King? Despite the decisive unification the army has been exhausted and the state is very vulnerable to any attack.

Second Bhatoist Crusades
The Second Bhatoist Crusades has been declared by the Religious Oligarchy ruling the Bhatoist Empire. The crusades had a heavy impact on the Bhatoist world as thousands from Tereno to Dilhava answer the call. It is declared to reclaim T’lur Pa from the heathen invaders. Almost 15,000 troops land Waterside and an additional 10,000 in Dilhava to fight the invaders many peasant troops. Dilhava is facing internal unrest fueled by internal discontent by religious leaders who dislike the moderate government in charge. The government soon found itself in a guerilla war on its frontier regions where religious extremists have literally brought a state of anarchy to the regions. Several key government officials were assassinated causing confusion amongst the government on how to respond. Then Taruq struck finding light resistance but in the steamy jungles of Dilhava, its advance stopped as thousands of men died from disease and heat exhaustion. The Taruq general out of sheer strategic brilliance and aide from Cascades was able to sack a few urban centers then consolidate his gains. The advance did stall as Dilhava reorganized itself and stopped the enemy advance at the rivers. Taruq is readapting its strategy to the terrain and Dilhava reorganizes its forces a showdown for the Bhatoist world will soon take place.

Hyoln-Vencian Wars
Hyoln faced an enormous amount of casualties if it dared cross the defensive barriers set up by Vencia. The leadership decided instead to march across the mountains separating the two states. The move was risky because they could easily be ambushed and destroyed in the mountain passes. Surprisingly, the enemy put no resistance up as they advances through the mountains. Hyoln speedily advanced along the coast seizing all the major urban centers in short sieges. It seems that the merchant class rose up in coup overthrowing the Republic hence the lack of resistance. Hyoln occupied in the major cities as it names its terms for peace which will likely be harsh given the decisive victory they scored. The army collapsed in the north as word spread of their homelands surrender. The general retreated northward as increasing numbers of ships seized by Hyoln from Vencia landed their troops behind the defensive structures. His terms for surrender are simple safe passage to Vencia.
A minor military note the Vlakan under Hyolnian assistance drive the hordes of Oslan tribes far westward. The Vlakan are cruel warriors killing their enemies to the last man whenever possible. The Oslan tribes fall back in disarray in a situation similar to that Tephen.

Taruq Wars
Taruq was growing stronger and more ambitious everyday. Its forces were advancing towards the city of Waterside. The people of T’lur Pa had resisted bravely but their resistance only angered Taruq’s generals. The retribution against the civilian population was harsh and swift. Only major cities were burned to the ground and half the population killed. Taruq was preparing to assault Waterside when it was then reinforced by the Bhatoist Crusaders. The attack was halted for now and Taruq left a sizeable cavalry force in the region to fight back in invaders now known as Taruq in T’lur Pa. The main army was sent into Western Dilhava inflicting the same damage as in T’lur Pa and taking advantage of the confusion in the Dilhavan government. They faced difficulties (see Second Bhatoist Crusades). Taruq has a seemingly inexhaustible supply of manpower, horses and a vast vassalage system which it using to exploit the weakness of neighboring empires.

The Struggle of the Kee People
In an epic clash during the times of the Greater Empire of the Sky Gods the Kee people were caught in the middle. Their growing but vulnerable kingdom was a prized target for the Taruq raiders. In the destruction that followed the loss in battle against the steppe warriors came one of the greatest exiles in history. Tens of thousands of Kee refugees moved northwards to a valley sheltered by mountains. They rebuilt a kingdom hoping for peace from nomadic warriors. This belief turned false as the Oslan tribes poured into the northern cradle like a tidal wave.
In the wave thousands of Oslan warriors harassed the Kee people’s border regions. Ambitious warlords pushed deeper and deeper into the Kee heartland displacing or killing the inhabitants as they went. In their wake the Oslan people settled in these new lands and began trading with the mercantile Northern Trading League. Finally, the capital fell and the warlord planning to recreate the success of Moldvi built his own kingdom. However, his rule was weak and fractured almost feudal in nature. The Kee people had fled to the Northern Trading League islands in large numbers instating a coup over the government with support from the Veneratio Avatorum church. A faith they had converted to a long time ago when making contact with Terra Trifluentia. Using the strength of the league they ambitiously sought to retake their homeland.
Using the powerful navy of the league combined with their own they land and surrounded their former capital. Using bribes to turn warlords within the realm against the ruler they easily divided and conquered the enemy’s armies. The former capital of Keeleh the new homeland of the Kee people is falling back into their hands. Slowly they seek to reconquer their home and build a strong future for their people.
OCC: I exaggerated the conflicts a little but I think the stage is set for a much larger conflict.
