Huming
A conflict long in the making has been brewing. The small nation of Shanxi could no longer be tolerated by Huming in its quest for power. Huming launched a two pronged invasion of the nation of Shanxi. Their so called Army of the Tiger (Hu meaning Tiger and Ming meaning Bright) would under capable leadership face its first tests in combat.
The first prong led by Lord Xi Ling with his force of 4200 Infantry and 1500 cavalry made the initial assault. His army moved along the River Sheng steadily with the enemy’s capital as their objective. The people of Shanxi put up a fight but the superior training and organization of the invaders routed any attempts to resist. Soon they arrived at the gates of Shanxi and began to lay siege to its walls, however, the defenders would not budge. Lord Xi Ling, had some help coming though that would put the siege in their favor.
Simultaneously, under Lord Wang Ming who with the finest troop in the Huming army were to launch a more covert assault. Leading 800 infantry in 10 River Boats they made their way up the River Sheng. By dusk they reached the cities docks. Minimal resistance was put up as the troops flooded the lightly defended docks. Within a few hours the gates to the city were opened and the armies of Huming poured in.
The inhabitants were treated very well by the invaders. Huming’s army had a strict Code of Honor in which the defeated were to be treated with dignity and care. This helped greatly in pacifying any resistance. The lord of the City-State of Shanxi surrendered and it is yet to be known what they will do with him as his royal family.
Immediately, the problems of annexing such a backwards state became evident as the royal treasury now has to support a larger population and build the new lands infrastructure to match the rest of Huming.

Now let’s move our attention to the main cradle where as almost everywhere there is a surge in power.
Hyoln
Hyoln would have two defining events take place this turn for it. One is that for the first time a city would be sacked. One thinking the consequences to be mostly negative in fact would help Hyoln spread Dualism far and wide as a growing presence in the face of Veneration Avatorium.
Hyoln is now a religious and militaristic state which is a huge change from their former pacifist ways. The nation with its new army of Glikanhra's Warriors a group of crusaders more of armed peasantry are now being used to flood lands changing the ethnic and religious make more quickly. These armies are quickly recruited and then usually settle when finished in the conquered areas. The council if thinking of using them to make crusader states as base to spread Dualism. Minor expansion to the north takes place as Hyoln reaches the ocean. The strains of such a large and lightly populated state cause upkeep to soar. Maybe Hyoln should work to consolidate what they have before further expansion.
The Modlvi tribe launches a raid on Hyoln striking the rich mining city on the fa borders of Hyoln. The raid is very successful looting the city of its storage of precious metals and carrying whatever they could hold as they flood west once the armies of Hyoln arrived. Hyoln chased them deep out of their borders arriving upon a mess of refugees. Thousands of tribes and tens of thousands of people have pushed through the mountains and are populating the border regions of Hyoln. The army overwhelmed by the sheer weight of numbers of these peoples consolidates its position and awaits orders from the Council before pursuing the raiders any further.
One thing Moldvi took with it was Dualist Priests. The war chieftain fascinated by the militaristic form of the faith adopts it as his own. He sends envoys of peace towards Hyoln promising to make up for his wrong doings by forcefully spreading the faith abroad with his warriors.

Vencia
Vencia has become dependent on Hyoln for protection for some odd reason. The government feels threatened by distant but growing Empires. They then look to heathen paying them a sum of money each year in exchange for protection. This only seems to embolden Hyoln who will only likely exploit the weakness shown by Vencia. Many merchants are already plotting to overthrow the current Senate unless some changes are made.
On a brighter note trade continues to flow in as the country invests further into building cities to handle the growing trade.
Terra Trifluentia
This nation with the troubles brewing in T’lur Pa is now unquestionably the most powerful force in the cradle. Thanks to the close relations with Tephen and its Empress Josephine who has recently ascended to the throne Veneration Avatorum has been actively spread. It is quickly if not surpassing in followers over Bhatoism long the largest religion in the cradle.
A large chunk of land is added to the empire lowering the standards of infrastructure. Upkeep also spikes but thanks to the establishment of a Grapheocratae or civil service which negates any negative spikes in upkeep. The army is also overextended and if the Oslan tribes reach their borders they could be overwhelmed in holding back the raids.
A college for merchants who will study how to maximize profits on trade and try to more evenly spread the trade throughout the empire. Its name Collegium Mercatora will likely be a center of economic power once completed being envied throughout the cradle.

Sky Gods
The Empire of the Sky Gods does some expansion into the recently discovered river valley. Almost devoid of any large settlements the Sky Gods easily take control extending their control far up to the S-Bend in the river. A mountain fortress easily the most well defended in the Cradle. This fortress can easily last years under siege due to the vast caves tunneled out to store food materials.
Of course this expansion and construction comes as a cost to the Empire.

Kaldurian Invasion of T’lur Pa
Kaldur is a nation becoming increasingly inclosed by its neighbors. The King a mad man who to change the troubles of his nation launches nearly all of his troops into T’lur Pa.
The King wanting glory to bring the nation from the ashes of the disastrous Taruq invasions drafts nearly 10,000 men into the army. These peasant troops marched along side the main elite forces of the nation’s army. He believes if his intial assaults are successful more powers will join in to assist to tear at the foundations of T’lur Pa.
He overlooks that T’lur Pa is a very well respected nation in the Great Sea. Its merchants known in every port and its military second only to Ilion. Kaldur stands no chance to win this war unless they gain support so the King needs to shake the foundations of the Empire by taking the capital Waterside.
The troops march along the River Animas laying siege to the first city they encounter a river port. Within a few days into the siege the army finds itself fighting a massive army of T’lur Pa. The city holds and the advance stalls. The peasants poorly armed and trained are being quickly torn to bits by the elite forces of T’lur Pa.
Generals within T’lur Pa knowing Kaldur threw nearly everything they had at them advance north of the enemy sieging the city of Kaldur. An interesting twist of fate and many are unsure how cruel the treaty on Kaldur by T’lur Pa will be. The affects of the war shuts down trade on the River Animas. Terra Triflunentia’s economy is damaged from the war and with their fellow religious brothers being defeated Curia Patriarch may feel tempted to help them.

Confederation of Fizcat
The people of this state have long suffered. A large barbarian migration into the lands could not be opposed and the nation lost what little central government it had left. Most of the northern half of the peninsula the Fizcathians are now minorities in their own country. Most barbarians, however, have been culturally fused with Fizcat and they have adopted the atheistic faith. Several war chieftains rule over separate pieces of the Empire coming together to elect a Duke to lead the Confederation.
The city of Fizcat was rebuilt to house the Duke and his family to lead the small confederation. The population is slowly rebounding but most of the trade and wealth is gone or has shifted south to Ashayl. Ashayl is now the largest and most powerful state in Fizcat thanks to the Dukes family that survived the crusades. Encouraging immigration of Fizcathian Atheists from all over the Great Sea has changed it into a thriving trading center mixing of all sorts of cultures. The Duke also tolerates all faiths as long as they do not worship on public lands. The Duke has also been rebuilding a large military force which by all means will likely be used to forcefully reunite Fizcat.

Notes
The main reason for me rushing to pump out this thread was I am leaving to go on vacation in a few days. That and my pervious NES thread which was disorganized caused much of the problems. Things should be fine within a few days. I can update in Massachusetts but it will be difficult for me to do so. I wanted to get orders in before I left so I could work on it on the plane which will likely happen. I can then post the update at my grandparents house.
Justroke, I skipped over your post and I apologize. I will have your stats up tomorrow. You are free to send orders and I will edit in your section. I will also give you extra time for the second update if you need it. I hope my random bonus helped a little as well

. Once again a thousand apologies and I hope you stay in the NES...
Hope the update was good. It was a bit rushed as of Fourth of July but I think it turned out well. Stats should be up by Friday but if things get in the way as usual it could be delayed. Heads up I want orders in by Monday so start planning ahead of time.
