the Plague might worry me.. but the barbarians are a non-threat to me (at the moment), and my empire hit the breaking point last turn. since I have no major cities yet, I'm off the hook for now.

I think in a couple of updates I may add a new unit to replace trade economy bonuses once again.

Merchant ships and caravans. Still in the planning stages but this would make it so players could target a players economy more effectively in an blockade.

Edit: Not embargo blockade :)

A comma makes the meaning clearer. ;)

I love being privy to fairly unusual knowledge. :p
:mischief:

Well, I've invested quite a bit in fortifications, so hopefully the city that falls isn't mine...

i am not that worried about barbarians since my cities are all on the high seas, and only civilized nations yet have navies, besides pirates, but they would then be called by pirates, plagues though could be a problem, also i like that idea of caravans farrow

Since the update will very much not come tonight but tomorrow here are some clues to what happens.

Update Title: The Coming of Taruq

One important city will be sacked
A plague will strike
Barbarians will be on the move again
Some empires will be tested nearly to the breaking point

The city victim is pretty much limited to three choices: T'lur Pa, Maasla Keeista or Tierra Trifluentia.

maybe vlakan does something huge, so we see this pincer move on the cradle from north and south, where slowly the hostile barbarians try and destroy history as we know it

Even though that would be very cool, don't be giving Farow any ideas. ;)

well you and me BJ could fall back on our colonies to reform civilization, ;)

The high mountains endure,
When the wooden walls fail,
When the beaten shields crack,
When the spear lines break,
When the enemy host
Is at the gate,
When the realms of Men fall,
And the whole world dies,
The high mountains endure,
Their Gods serene.

I'm not worried. ;)

Yes, even more so than you. To an extent. :p Perhaps. Depending on what you know. :p
Oh, I know a lot. :p

Definitely a plan B.

So do I. Let's have a knowing party. :D
Yay! Party!!! :p

I bet the city that gets sacked is some completely random city that would have never been sacked normally but Farow just picked it because he wanted to mix things up. :P
