Title says it all. What is your favorite lunch meat?
Note: I define lunch meat as the sliced stuff you can buy at a deli.

My favorite is pastrami. Very little is better than a warm pastrami sandwich with muenster cheese.

Please forgive me if I forgot any options.

Salami or bologna,

Since a Reuben is my all time favorite sandwich, I guess I have to vote for corned beef. Odd though, if I were to just pick a meat to stand on its own I probably would have gone for roast beef from the list.

Roast Beef or Turkey for me. I don't really think of Chicken as a lunch meat...

Roast beef although it tends to go bad after a couple days. I usually eat Turkey.

Chicken breast, or tuna salad, since I avoid foods that are preserved with nitrates.

Otherwise, I really like a selection of authentic Italian salamies.

Salami, dear lord salami.

Great lunch: French/Sourdough bread, with Brie cheese and salami.

Oh yeah, roast beef is excellent too, dunno how I forgot that.

I didn't use to think of chicken/turkey as lunch meats, but if I want to stay away from processed/cured meats, they're basically my only meat option apart from roast beef.

Turkey or ham

Bologna or ham

Roast beef. Bloody roast beef.

Roast Beef.

If I have the time, I will fry up my roast beef in light butter (margarine, whatever the stuff is) before I use it to make a sandwich. The heat brings out so much flavor.

I'm vegetarian.

You are missing out. If i had to get by on just green vegetables, starches, and nuts i think i would die.

Just curious are you doing it for health reasons or because of a personal belief?
