They are demons and undeads so Barbatos. :) If not then Saverous.

Acheron can not be promoted to fear because it starts promoted from the very beginning. :D

Edit: and it is not a hero.

Well, you need Combat 5 + (Undead, Demon OR Nightmare)

So you have Skeletons at Necromancy + Adept, Pyre Zombies at Bronze Working, or Horseman at Horseback Riding + Stable.

Since Centaur & Wolf Rider do not require a Stable to be built, they would be the winners if you can assume that you happen to have a Nightmare resource handy.

Ah, I always misunderstood that... It seems you really have to read loads of different leader's pedia entries to actually get the idea of one person...

Hey, he said it was my turn :p

How did Kilmorph help the Lurchip when all hope was basically lost? There's at least two different events, I want two of them.

In the Age of Ice, Kilmorph showed the way down to the caves where the frost hadn't destroyed everything

And in the Age of Rebirth, as the armageddon drew closer, Kilmorph allowed the construction of the Mithril Golem to cause major asskicklyness to defend the Luchiurp.

Yep, she (is kilmorph a she?..) taught them to return to the caves to survive the age of ice. The second time, she enchanted the mithril golem, which was something the lurchip couldn't do themselves because mithril reflects all spells.

(Yes, Kilmorph is indeed a she).

Which of the Gods/Angels in FFH have names that are taken from Celtic mythology?

Also note that Valledia the Even released him because she had ordered him to do it (or perhaps she ordered him to use this magic again after he had been convicted of unapproved necromancy in the past. I'm not sure if the case Dain mentions is Einion's wife or an earlier one.)

Necromancy fits the Amurites very well, but only after going through the proper bureaucratic channels.

They are also one of the few good or neutral civs with whom you get no diplomacy penalty if you use Death Mana (not so sure about Entropy, will have to check).

Edit: Yep, you get no penalty for using Entropy Mana with them.

Lugus, Esus, Sucellus, Cernunnos, Nantosuelta & Sirona are the gods taken from FFH mythology. I don't know all the angels in FFH, but Brigit is the only one with a familiar name from FFH in the Celtic pantheon.

If I'm right, which two characters in Age of Ice show up as leaders in the current version of FFH 2?

You're leaving out two gods.

But as to answer your own question..... There's Charadon for certain, but I'm blanking on a second name.

Sounds like somebody's got things a little backwards. Those accursed Celts plagarizing Kael. :mischief:

If Fenboy's right, I'll say Charadon and Sandalphon. If he's wrong, disregard this post.

durnit, and the second one's really very obscure, doesn't show up in most games.

Edit: Mewthario got it, but I didn't manage to get those last two gods, so nvm

Sandalphon is one of the random names given to the Children of Kylorin, assuming there aren't two Sandalphons running around...
