FfH trivia game thread

How many days in the year in the FfH setting?

When you say last age, do you mean Age of Magic or of Ice?

Bambur & Barnaxus (both ages), Baron Duin Halfmorn (Magic), and Wilboman (Ice, I think. He doesn't have a Civilopedia entry yet.)

The last age was the Age of Ice, and I think the three you mentioned (Bambur, Barnaxus and Wilboman) were probably the three Nikis-KNight meant. The other hero I refered to was Yvain, who is mentioned in Arendel and Faeryl's pedia entries. That entry takes place just at the end of the Age of Magic so ne would assume (just as with Bambur) that Yvain lived through the Age of Ice too.

it must have been hard, seeing as how elves are vulnerable to ice, : P

On what day did who suggest adding Keelyn to the game, under what name and with what suggested traits?

Jul 06, 2006, Nikis-Knight suggests adding Julia, the Creative Summoner (her traits).

Okay I have a question: Why would Cassiel be banned from vanilla civ (besides the fact that he just does not fit in)?

That's the second time that I have been one off with my answer. Anything else that needs to be pointed out? Think my question might be out of place for this thread?

All I can think of are mechanics incompatibilities like:

He's Neutral and Vanilla doesn't have alignments.
He's Agnostic and Vanilla doesn't have that trait.

I did say "besides the fact that he just does not fit in" for a reason. I'm asking about why Cassiel, if he did not have any alignment and was not agnostic or adaptive, would still not be allowed as a leader in vanilla civ for gameplay reasons. Think about it, why would he be kept out of vanilla civ if he were made compatible? Here's a hint, look in the vanilla civilopedia and compare with the FFH2 civilopedia.

:hmm:, I just mentioned vanilla 3 times (4 if counting this one down here) in this one post. Should I just put up a different question entirely?

:wallbash:
All right Black Whole, it's true that it would be unfair to other civs if Cassiel was in but not simply because of him having 4 traits. Even if the two that do not belong in vanilla were removed, Cassiel would still not be allowed. Here's another hint: look in the Civ4 strategy section of this site right now.

Yes, you got it Black Whole.

Now that I think about it, I probably should not have asked this question since it ties too much into vanilla.

Ok, here is the next question:

A Hero and a Leader have a special relation ship. Who is the Hero, who is the leader and what kind of relationship is it?

As someone who hasn't touched Vanilla in a very long time, I would have to agree :P
Though, I didn't know about these 'forbidden combos' and am now somewhat curious. Not enough to go look, though :)
