FfH trivia game thread

What god in real mythology has almost the exact same name as the god of fire. To be correct, the answer has to have gods name, empire that worhiped it, and one of the chief practices of that god.
Hint: The god is from a mediterainian civ that is in core civ.

Baal, Carthaginians. They sacrificed children in his honor.

EDIT: By a hair... :goodjob:

Dang. Your fast. I thought I made it hard enough. Would it have been harder without the clue? And Res rgis of Ter has the floor.

I had noticed the inspiration as soon as I came across the name, so the clue had no importance.

For the entertainment of the masses, I'll add that the children were burned in braziers.

EDIT: Carthaginians also practiced sacred prostitution, it is said. When reality parallels dark fantasy, I'd say. TEAM! The Evil civs clamor for these things to be added!!

The Tan'elyn, the elven Crown

(In my modmod I'm making this a piece of equipment that allows a spell that lets you convert any Elven or Dark Even unit to your side, with a chance to fail of course)

Edit: oops, too late. If I hadn't taken the time to plug my modmod I would have gotten it.

I thought it was that mirror/window thing that is in Arendel Phaedra pedia. Geuss I am wrong.

Wasnt it iron?

if we are talking age of rebirth i would say wood for luichip practice then iron then that got leaked so everyone made copper golems

Ice Golem said:
The Luchuirp assaulted the Illian city. Juggernauts slammed against the defenses. Towering iron golems waded through the rubble, destroying any defenders they found. The Luchuirp forces tried to stop the ritual that was taking place within the inner city, but they were too late.

The Age of Magic ended when Mulcarn popped through, so it would be this army of iron golems.

The Luchiurp used the superior Iron Golems for the most part, but when you factor in other races and their shoddy knockoffs, Copper Golems were more popular.

And it was true in the game as well, until Shadow (IIRC) got released, and they got cut.

mewtharios right. the iron golem pedia entry said after other peoples started making golems, that copper ones were the most common

I believe that the point here goes to civ king, who mentioned the copper golems two posts above me.
