Tapatalk is an add-on, that hasn't been installed for xenforo. Given that the main benefit of tapatalk is to make the site mobile friendly, and given that xenforo ticks that box, I doubt tapatalk will be installed again. Tapatalk has a few security problems (well, they used to have, haven't checked in a while).I use Tapatalk on my phone to access CivFanatics. I noticed that it still doesn't see the forums from my app. Will this fix, or would I have to use another app?
And for those who wish there was NOT such feature ?XenForo has post count.
For those wishing for the Like feature, it is here!

I'm not a fan of the appearance (lots of useless "eye candy" which detract from clarity and readability), but I absolutely despise the "like" garbage.
Is there any other skin for the forum?...![]()
That's like saying: "Oh, you don't want guns to be legal in your country? Well, don't buy one then."You are free to simply not use it.

Should be fixed now.I'm guessing moderator permissions are a little off at this stage - the main staff forum is not visible to me. However, the GOTM & Content staff forums are visible to me.
Is this the first metaphor you have ever read? The thing that connects my example and the like feature is that even if I personally decide not to use it that does not shield me from the consequences of the feature being there. If you can find a documented case of a 'like' system causing rampant murder rates, I am certain we'd all be very interested in hearing about it.

Possible negative effects are people's opinion being influenced by how many likes a post has (consciously or subconsciously), unpopular opinions being marginalized, and generally posts being evaluated by popularity, not by value.
It lets me inform people I enjoyed their content without spamming the thread with a useless reply that contributes nothing.
Well I'm not liking this at all. Perhaps it's because it's the first major change I've seen in my 10+ years on CFC but this just doesn't seem user friendly or intuitive at all. Posts just seem to merge into each other with a tiny red line separating them. Threads on the forum page have incredibly faint lines between them - what's the point? It's just not pleasant to look at. Having to hover over the thread to get page numbers is annoying. A "like" system being implemented even though members have always been very divided on the matter. I'm trying to find the user control page that lets me see if threads I have posted in have been replied to but I can't find it.
This will take some getting used to. I seriously hope this is just the first step to something greater.
Regards
Based on my previous experience with the person. There's no way my personal opinion about the person has influence on other people. A hell of a difference. Are you against usernames being displayed next to posts as well? If you know who made a post, you might marginalize what they say (consciously or subconsciously).
I demonstrated why your "Use it or don't." doesn't work for me, your point is nonsensical. My point remains. Use it or don't. Obsessing over vague and circumstantial consequences seems like a poor use of time.
The 'watched threads' button up the top of the page appears to be the subscribed threads list you'd see when going into your UserCP previously.I'm trying to find the user control page that lets me see if threads I have posted in have been replied to but I can't find it.
